Phgb carbs are different the all others. There idle circuit is what's called a progressive circuit has effect on whole throttle range. Great working carbs provided pilot jets correct yours sounds great good job.

It's called 69 and you can change the color of the numbers. I use white or blue.

For the price(17.99) it's the best carb I've ever used lol but I think the VM20 would have been just as good if I had the right size jets or micro bits.

I still say that the vm18 carburetor is one of the best carburetors i have used sometimes bigger really ain't better

Bro the vm20 used a #125 jet and the PHGB only needed an #80 jet!! I was way off when I started lol 👍🏾😁

Sweet sounding nice and crisp. I was changing the crank bearings in mine then discovered that the clutch shaft got damaged by the puller and the crank bearing that went bad got hot so I ordered a bearing puller hoping it works I even tried heating it up and using 2 screwdrivers no luck but my opinion my phantom experament will have more power because it has a window piston and the avenger doesn't

The Avenger doesn't come with a reed valve/ window piston setup? The ones I've seen have been modified but they seem to be faster than the Phantom.
