What time and day was this recording? I’m thrown aback by the empty downtown streets.

its always like that, thats just buffalo for ya. chippewa st gets busy on friday nights but thats just because of the club. other than that, downtown buffalo is a ghost town.

You can bet all four corners were once magnificent Victorian structures as the one remaining City Hall is. It’s sublime in the misty rain. It’s definitely a gothic day in Buffalo. The 1960’s buildings are trite and aging badly, yet the old City Hall is resplendent and has the visual weightiness of being a well conceived pile of hand hewn rock. It’s a Monument of a Divine Trust between the City Fathers and the Citizens. …..yes yes, graft was ripe and array in the 19th century, but the reigning style was out of this world sublime and spooky. The deco building is also nice, and that beautiful obelisk. The old hotel you just know has a palatial interior. That deco plié with the higher tower in the middle is also very gothic in feel. No graffiti, or any signs of the antifa roaches we usually see scurrying across the sidewalks. I so want to visit this place when it’s like this, or even in the Winter.

this is whata a nuclear winter looks like, except more people would be on the streets after a nuclear bomb.

Early morning is always the best time to film, and also I find Thanksgiving morning at 5:30-6:AM is the best day of the year to film a city. I notice zero vandalism, and zero scaffoldings at street level. This means buildings aren’t falling down from lack of proper maintenance. Repointing is taking place.

I think I want to work and live here in Buffalo. Big city but kinda laid back. I applied for Licensure exam for Nurses / NCLEX in this state, NY and got my eligibility already. Hope to pass my exam and start processing my docs.

Overrated city of immigrants living in ghettos form China , india and south america. 22 public shootings in 2022 , people get beaten in the public transport.. Very average north american city ... Not walkable , few trees and parks built for cars and highways .

Toronto has a lot of socialist and the there protest activity is done not on the Publix shrimp but inside the work environment these socials will work minimum wage Johns while living in luxury condo buildings there was a is only place to get work I can't move a have all these reasons I can't go to suburbs I miss beyond me how I get better job and live in a less expensive situation and if you were to raise my pay $0.10 every day then we can do something with our life is what they say

Toronto does not define the identity of Canada .More USA car culture and poor architecture .of concrete and glass buildings own by foreign investors and empty . No body can afford them . More people from China and India living in ghettos . People get attacked in the subway and public transport , 22 public shootings in 2022 . cars get stolen and high jack.... Toronto has no identity with a fake times square , fake underground city and Toronto has no history and culture . Not a walkable city , no trees and parks
