What a great guy....and a pretty damned good singer! The racial divide in America is totally weird. I'm 72 and, very honestly, it's something I have never understood.

Dr. Learn is my doctor and he is amazing!! He breaks down the complicated medical (scary) details so that I can understand the decisions that I need to make and or which decision is the best course for my diagnosis. He is warm and fun to talk too and you honestly feel like he sees you at a person not just a patient. I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Learn!!!

I was seriously ill with a bowel obstruction in January and suffered from this for about 48 hours. I "dreamed" behavior I actually engaged in, became paranoid, and accused the wonderful nurses of trying to harm me. I'd have long talks with my sleeping roommate. I was convinced there was a center for autistic children across the hall. I kept seeing a little boy named Joey coming into my room from there. He looked and talked like an angel. The doctors argued my case couldn't agree on my case but the hospitalist took over and had me squeezed into the surgery schedule for a total colectomy and permanent ileostomy. I am 68 and have my brain and body back. How I wish I couldn't remember the way I behaved! Frightening.

Excellent presentation and our society is so proud of the accomplishments you make daily! I'm an octogenarian and my father was a surgeon, graduating from the University of Louisville in 1920 (not a typo ) and he would be thrilled to see where you are today. He was a surgeon for twenty years before the penicillin family became available! Whew! Best of luck!

Dr. Shobeiri saved my life! I was in suicidal nerve pain for 5 years and other docs said it was in my head. Dr. Shobeiri was so compassionate and caring, he discovered that I had Pudendal Nerve Entrapment and did a bilateral surgery which decreased my pain significantly and got me out of a wheelchair! I am forever Grateful to this man!! ❤

ty for the explanation! i had previously thought anti-thrombotic therapy dissolved the clot and was confused on why post thrombotic syndrome would develop. It makes more sense that if there is a undissolved clot than that would cause downstream venous hypertension from inflammation and lumen narrowing

Dr. Campbell is unequivocally the top choice for hip replacement surgery. My journey to find a proficient surgeon was nothing short of a nightmare. One doctor wanted to use a private hospital, which proved to be a logistical and insurance nightmare, leaving me in a challenging situation. In my quest for the right surgeon, I contacted Fair Oak Hospital, where I wanted the procedure to take place, and specifically requested the most skilled hip specialist available. Without hesitation, they recommended Dr. Campbell, praising his innovative approach that promised faster recovery times. This emphasis on innovation and advanced techniques was precisely what I sought in a surgeon, as opposed to someone adhering rigidly to traditional methods. Upon meeting Dr. Campbell and providing him with my MRI, I appreciated his direct and no-nonsense approach. I was looking for a straight shooter, and that's exactly what I got. Without hesitation, I opted for surgery under his care at Fair Oaks Hospital, a superb facility with an exceptional staff. The surgery itself was a testament to Dr. Campbell's expertise, lasting a mere 57 minutes. I was back home within hours, initially relying on a walker for one day, then transitioning to a cane for the next 3 days, and eventually progressing to walking by myself days later. My follow-up visit was reassuring, with everything progressing as expected. Completing six physical therapy sessions within 30 days was crucial, and I began feeling better with each passing day. Now, 30 days post-surgery, I continue to experience improvement and some days forget I even had the operation. PT will help you recover faster when to INOVA PT at the Centreville Office, Great people there to work on you and help you recover. In summary, I typically do not write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience. If you are in need of a hip replacement, I strongly urge you not to waste time searching elsewhere or navigating the complexities of private surgery centers. Dr. Campbell provides clear and honest guidance, and if surgery is necessary, I highly recommend having it done at Fair Oaks Hospital. I wish I had come across a review like this earlier, as it would have saved me a considerable amount of time and uncertainty. Dr. Campbell is a skilled and trustworthy physician, and you are undoubtedly in capable hands. I can assure you that I am not exaggerating when I say this. Best of luck with your procedure Dave C Chantilly, Va

Several years ago, my wife was a candidate for cryoablation for a kidney tumor. There was a blood vessel very close to the tumor, but the operation was a success. This nano surgery would have been a safer option if it had been available at the time.

Dr Francis is a great and special man. My father had a heart attack in 1988 or 89 and Dr Francis was my father's heart doctor (cardiologist) the rest of his life. My Dad got Parkinson's a few years later. He had a lot of different doctors over the years. Dr Francis was always his and my mother's favorite. As a kid at that time I couldn't believe how Doc had become a country star and then later came back to his practice. Here's what I'll always appreciate about Dr Francis. My mother and I had taken care of my Dad for 20 years through his Parkinson's. My mother to our surprise got cancer and died quickly about a year before Dad passed. When Mom was dying and the hospital was trying to refer questions to her cancer doctor he was on vacation and though his secretary was passing along messages to that doctor he wouldn't return his calls. It was weeks later after Mom died that he called me. That's not Dr. Francis. In Dad's last year when I was with him I saw Dr Francis multiple times at the hospital to see Dad and even when Dad was given his last 48 hours or so at the end of his life Dr Francis came and visited to check on Dad again. In a year plus long span of not seeing anything like that with different types of doctors as I became both their caretakers I can't tell you looking back how grateful I am for Dr Francis who really cared. I don't know if he'll see this but thank you so much. That was 2009 and 2010 and I was thinking about you this morning. I'm sure your caring of your patients is what made you so successful in your practice as well as that heart is what made you so successful in music. God bless you and your family and thank you again.
