Were did you buy the Steering shaft ? I have a Dakota like this need to replace steering shaft, and thank U vary much for taking the time to post this video.

I’ve had a dozen between the two never had it even seen a cracked head. Like I say heat kills and I don’t let my stuff get hot either.

Ive had to replace 3 on my dakota, one of them i had to redo because it just gave out again ,maybe 2 years is what it lasted. Every time i just hear something drop somewhere and regulator is busted. Any idea what could be my issue? Read about cleaning stuff and replacing weathring etc, any video suggestions or part names?

How to lower a 72-93 Dodge truck..Don't!..why lower it? looks much better stock ride height, and a lowered pickup is going to bump and drag on everything...makes me both sick, and sad, to see so many of the survivors of these older trucks get lowered, big wheels with rubber band tires, and similar modifications..they'll never make trucks like that anymore, why screw them up?

Been doing some research on how to lift my b series van. You think if I use the lower control arms from these trucks will give me a couple of inches of lift?

If anyone is having trouble getting that locknut and bolt off, just cut it off with a hyper tough mini sawzall ($40) and go to the hardware store and ask for that same bolt and nut. I tried numerous other methods to get it off but the mini sawzall was what worked in the end.

Those street fire cdi boxes are complete junk, I’ve had two failed me and said no more! First one died before the warranty ended and replacement died shortly after

Nice share, we build engines daily we turn the block up side down and install the bearing aligning the feed holes next install the camshaft to make sure it turns freely then move forward!!

FYI those little pumps like the one on your tailgate are garbage. The outlet side is pressed in with an o ring and it can pop out easily.

Still the thing that comes down to hold the scooter still coming down without the scooter on the platform. How do you adjust it? thanks.

Ok, 3 things: 1: You need to start and end the test from the same location. You don’t know how much more downhill you were going there versus coming back. 2: You need to fill up from the same pump, start and finish. The automatic shutoff on pumps vary a lot, so stick with the same pump. 3: This stopped working for gas vehicles since they added ethanol. It still works for diesel. My old Supercharged Riviera got a 4 mpg boost on the highway with acetone. But it disappeared when they added ethanol. 😢

When you reinstalled the cap on the back of the motor, how far did you hit it in? Do you take it as far as it can go? I'm doing one myself and not sure if it needs to contact the cam or sit flush with the outer edge of the block

I got a saddle cover that the sun broke down in less than a year ........ sadly that is the reality .... the good old time quality is gone forever...... they call it progress the one i got to AVOID is one that has black stretch like nylon that wraps over top of seat and head rests..... who needs head rest for bench seat????.... i still have the old one from 20 years ago under neath as filler ...... the newer ones are junk and they wont last . be sure you get the right size 3 sizes mini truck , mid size and full size using a Mexican rug is a good option... more work but it will last 10 years ,,,,,,,,,,,,

I just bought a FITech unit and noticed that the TPS sensor housing extends below the gasket surface of the throttle body unit. (about 1/16 inch) So, if the unit is bolted on right out of the box, the TPS unit will be distorted unless you notch the base gasket to allow clearance for the TPS housing to "hang down". This could explain why you had a fast idle (TPS not allowing the throttle blades to return fully) and why the TPS percentages are off. (distorted housing) I took my Dremel and ground the TPS sensor housing flush with the base surface of the throttle body. I have not tested it yet but expect no issues. I also alerted FITech of the issue. Just say'in
