@antonkarpov7282 no, never tried to upload an 8k since it doesn't make much sense. Also, if you shoot both 4k and 8k, it's better to use 4k when you export to avoid any quality loss with 4k footage

В той час як тут він менш за дюйм (біля 8мм), у сучасних камерах розмір сенсора - 30-35мм, що впливає на якість зображення, деталізованність, динамічний діапазон, глибину різкості і т.п. І це все не кажучи про окремі змінні об'єктиви. В телефонах - основна частина фінального результату досягається програмно.

@patrickwomack5256 everything was shot in 8k, 30 fps. ISO and shutter speed were changed from scene to scene, but try to keep ISO as low as you can. Postproduction was done as well - some color correction and color grading + a bit of extra stabilisation for some shots. As for the lut, I added a bit of Teal and Orange lut (about 20-30%), and blured the image for about 2-4%

I didn`t use any filters when shooting this video.

From free applications you may try CapCut or Filmora. Previously I`ve been using Kinemaster - great application but quite expensive.

@minhajhendrix9853 if your main goal is cinematography, better go for Sony ZV-E10, rig it, and buy some lens like 35mm f1.8. That will definitely provide you more cinematic quality if you know how to use it right

@minhajhendrix9853 no any phone can provide the same level of photo or video quality, as a proper dslr/mirrorless camera with interchangeble lenses. The difference in sensor size is dramatic. But, of course, that's only in case if you know how to use a camera in manual mode, how to work with light and set correct exposure, etc. Mobile phone is great as a 2nd camera, when you don't have opportunity to use the proper one.

@Dailybeats44 for a good video, learning how to use your camera - is the best :) when you know how, it doesn't matter anymore if you use Samsung or Iphone 😋

Hey! for this particular video, I`ve used ProMist 1/8 filter from my big camera, just held it next to the lens 😁It helped to make shadow to light transitions smoother a bit. Otherwise, no any other extra gear was used. Video was shot handheld in Pro Video mode, mostly in 8k. As for the editing tutorial, I already recorded several, but, honestly speaking, they are not up to my standards, so I`m waiting for a better opportunity 😅

Good question. I`ve never tried motion cam until you asked. After I tried it, I got some mixed feelings. It gives some nice codec and color options. Looks like 10 bit flat color profile is real and does contain more information than the regular video from the native camera app. Also the image looks pleasantly softer, more DSLR like. I can see some potential, but at the same time there are some noticeable downsides for now. Developers are a small team, and you may see it - the app isn`t super reliable for now. Sometimes it glitches out and recorded video may be full of artifacts. Another downside I`ve noticed - the stabilization in this app isn`t on par with native app. So you`ll definitely need some gimbal to make it work, otherwise get ready for a shaky footage (and not in a good way). Also stabilization looks awful in general - it feels like app doesn`t use optical stab, but electronic instead (image is a bit wobbly). And the last major downside I`ve noticed - the price for this app, which is almost $30, comparing to the free native app :) So to shoot with this app, you`ll need to pay quite a heavy price for it + purchase a gimbal. Personally, I don`t see myself investing extra money in it for now, since for a proper professional production I have my Sony a7s III cam, and for everything else, native app feels almost enough for me :)
