Technically it’s not the old “pentium” you may think of like the p4 era, the pentium gold (to my knowledge) is a i3 that’s had its performance and cache cut. It does struggle to run windows 11 sometimes though 😅

What’s a stat 3 ssd?

@@plant5521it’s the connector on the ssd. Xbox one and one s had a sat 2 connector which was slow but since the xbox one x had a sata 3 and it was using a hard deive that was 1/5 the max speed that sata 3 supports, I put a ssd that fully reaches the capactiy of sata 3

@@plant5521depends on your console. Sata 3 is only compatible with Xbox One X and PS4 Pro because they have a sata 3 connector. On xbox one, one s, ps4, a sata 3 ssd would work but would not give the full potential of a sata 3 ssd because those consoles wre locked behind a sata 2 ssd.

@@plant5521peformance wise, wayy faster boot and loading times. More stable fps across the board. Remember, you can only upgrade to a sata 3 if you have a Xbox One X and PS4 Pro. The PS4 Pro and Xbox One X have a sata 3 connector internally, xbox one, one s, ps4 only have a sata 2. In theory you can use a sata 3 ssd into xbox one, one s, ps4 but you would not unlock the full potential because it has a sata 2 connector. Another thing to note is that it’s not as simple as just opening it up and plugging a ssd in. If I remember, the xbox one x route is harder to peform as you need to open up the console more. On PS4 Pro i think you can just so a backup and copy that to your ssd and plug it in and call it a day. For one x, you have to use a tool on windows to correctly partition the ssd then flash the system again. You can flash the system from new or copy all data but I chose flash new system because everything usaully saves on xbox live

redo its thermal paste, they barely put any when they made the launc ps4's did it with mine and now its pretty friggen quiet, tested it out with elden ring :)

I’ll put the games onto an external ssd instead of the internal HDD. That will probably make a difference in loading times and stuttering on cod. It more than likely won’t do anything for fps or graphics in general

But yes, more than likely i’ll do part 2 sooner or later

The One X has much more beefy hardware, maybe one day ill do a video on the one x🤔

I'm pretty sure what the One S did (I have one too) is the GPU clock speed was raised slightly which at most is a few extra frames per second in games that dip below the cap if it is a GPU bottleneck, the CPU the consoles have however have always been bad (PCs had far better CPU options from Intel) and could be the issue in games too. It also has a Ultra Blu Ray drive along with newer HDMI which allows 4K output which does make it a 4K streaming and blu ray box but it's barely better than a fat in games. PC hardware from 2013 is pretty much incapable of running anything new these days unless it is some lightweight competitive game, the consoles are old and outdated and HDDs for games are just slow and not good compared to SSDs.

Its better than the original one for hdr and better visual quality => So its not slower than the PA4 so the console is faster (google the TF of these consoles) The One S is holding very good => Cod is not even worth playing😅 Nearly every nes game on the console is pretty good playable (palworld nahh) u should repaste and clean it 🙂
