Oh no I just looked up the new Elf soft glam satin foundation is very comedogenic 😭!! Coco-caprylate/caprate is at the top of the ingredient list! Which means it’s highly potent in the foundation and pore clogging!!! So frustrating it looks nice to! Sad but I know it will be a no go for both of us! I thankfully love my Maybelline skin tint vitamin c so much!!!

@@KristiAllureBeauty Yes definitely an unpopular opinion but it’s the truth! You said 💯 exactly how I’ve been feeling spot on!! KZfaqrs are a voice for us consumers, it’s also confusing when a lot of KZfaqrs claim they are acne prone/sensitive, but using a foundation w/ so many comedogenic ingredients I know everyone’s skin is different but most of the same ingredients will irritate sensitive skin. The skincare makes it harder for a foundation or makeup product to be non-comedogenic. Thank you Kristi for keeping it real!! Keep up the good work for us girlies 🤩

@ambrosiacuevas6707 awe thank you love!! And I use to be so unaware but face was so bad after my mom passed. I didn’t develop any acne until after 40 but it got really bad after my mom so I had to make changes and educate myself and a dr informed me of coconut derivatives and after we eliminated that my skin really started to clear up so yes everyone has different skin like you said but I think we both know those irritants most likely are universal. And I know what you mean. I used to watch other influencers and when they would say I have acne and I can clearly see it and then turn around and say this foundation is great I would just cringe! 🤦🏼‍♀️ Don’t worry I will try my best to always keep it real! I always tell Glamfam everyone is different and our skin does change over time so it’s nice that we have several different options! 😍🤗

I hear and it will be around so don’t waste your money and finish up those foundations’ 😍 I’m not surprised it would wear off on some skin types especially combo because it is a full coverage formula that has a lot of glide to it so if she has any type of oily skin she would need a gripping primer underneath! As far as the sponge goes, I always wet my sponge and then I take a towel and try to get out most of the moisture. I like it to be damp, but not wet and I actually explain that in next Sunday’s video when I test out the Scott Barnes viral Aquaphor concealer trick so stay tuned for that. I also show how I like to apply this Tirtir cushion foundation now. I have a new method for it and I think you will really like it. It really makes your skin so smooth before you apply make up. I also used the Drmtlgy number one primer and again the best primer on the market it is silicone based but every product just glides over it so beautifully and it doesn’t make me break out which I love plus it has some skin care, loving ingredients in there. Before I do the number one primer I put on the NYX Freezie face as well. All the links are in the description and on my blog www.kristiallure.com that is there for reference. 😍 I just did a sunscreen tutorial and how I prep my face in that video is my standard method if that helps too. I did not use sunscreen in this video though. As for the shade did you buy on Amazon because if you did you can return and try a lighter shade that’s what I did. But Reverse I went darker. If you bought on another site that you can’t return you can always get a white foundation mixer. La girl has a good affordable one! Link below. You will put it on the back of your hand dab the Tirtir foundation with your finger that’s important not an applicator and mix it into the white pigment and that will lighten it up. A blue pigment will neutralize if you want to pick a blue shade and mix that in too. Use a very small amount and build if you need it. Now it may change the formula a little but at least you won’t waste your sand shade. You can also do my favorite I take the Maybelline skin tint with vitamin c and get a much lighter neutral to cool shade and do the same method but just a little amount and then Tirtir! It’s important to mix with your finger to warm up the products and mix them well then you can take the cushion, sponge or brush whatever you like and apply to your face! I hope that helps! I will do a tutorial on this if you like. Hi my beautiful Jessa! It's such a bummer that the ND had coconut derivates for me because I know I would have kept it in the rotation but that and plus avocado oil was no bueno for my skin! I knew you would love it though because thank goodness for your skin this was talc-free! Not too many options out there so keep me posted how it works out for you! We all have different skin and preferences which is why I wanted to test it out for the fam! Just wish I got these in PR so I can test out everything for you guys but my bank account won't allow me to get everything lol! I had my eye on that it cosmetics blush but it has coconut derivatives and there stuff has algae that breaks me out too so I can't use too many of their products. @@KristiAllureBeauty You can’t do all of the heavy lifting so don’t worry about it. 💝There are so so many products. Skin does change so much! I used to be able to use talc. I used to be able to use products with alcohol too. Not these days. I’m not acne prone but I have eczema.
