Old video, but find a local watchmaker that’ll do this work. I do this exact work in 2024 with a warranty for $100. Refinishing is an extra $50. Any problems and I’ll replace the watch. I serviced an auto Link that tag charges $1100 to service the movement. I did the movement and refinish for $450. Tag service is a crock of shit.

These lead singer’s creativity, floating across the top of the Van Halen brothers gifts from the gods, made two of the most unique, and successful bands EVER. And you have to give props to DLR for breathing leadership and industry hunger into VH or they may have wound up with a Grade-C front man and struggled to find their prowess and voice. I love both these frontmen, I didn’t always, but now understand them better.

I agree, looking back they were both great in their own ways. But I think DLR helped create the band's brand, but became someone the VH brothers could not work with anymore. Then given the opening, I think Sammy was the best person for the job and helped create another whole chapter of serious mega hits. Thanks for watching and please subscribe.

I got to meet George and Jimmie both a couple of times over the years. Both great guys…George built cars so kool they were kustom with a K and Jimmie kool with a K. Jimmie’s Riviera is one of my favorite kustoms ever.

Thank you, I kind of learned that afterwards. FOr anyone else reading this comment, he is 100 percent right, the oil from your fingers can contaminate and add moisture both cause corrosion. Also never use metal tweezers, only plastic ones as metal can short it out. @Matthewgregory2106 thank you for the great comment and please subscribe to my channel. @@FreddySherman I have read and seen DLR interviews and he admits he is not user friendly…especially to live with. This is one of the reasons he lives alone. He also stated that when he starts a project he goes all the way, 100%. He will train for a whole year before they climb that mountain. He will move to Japan, buy a flat, take Japanese language lessons, get a Japanese tattoo in the ole ways, take Japanese painting classes, etc. In my opinion what you see is what you get 24-7, and it is based on his current project. The other thing is Dave is super well read…when he has conversations on certain subjects, he knows more than average fella. He is not looking for small talk…he is looking for a real engaging conversation. He gets that from his mom. DLR is a unique cat for sure, and I appreciate all of his contributions.

I am about to use this on my Mustang headlights this weekend but lost my instructions, is it 5 minutes per each sand paper and also I have noticed some people have said the 400 sandpaper scratched their headlights, not sure if its worth skipping the 400 and just using the 1000 and 2000, any advice would be appreciated! Go to the company website that made the kit, they will have instructions online and it's best to follow their exact directions. I would also follow their directions about the different grit papers to use. If it says use 400, I do think you should use it. Also I believe if you use 400 then 1000 and 2000, the higher numbers polish out anything used before like the 400. THanks for watching, good luck, let me know how it goes and please subscribe!

@@FreddySherman Yes! Don't be sorry. I grew up in Edinbrugh and played on Braid Hills as a kid. Yesterday I was talking to my wife and we wondered if anyone had made a video of playing the course, and that's how I came upon it. To my mind it's typical of a quite different course from the famous links courses and I still love it, although it has been 10 years since I was last there.

I live near a big development in Beaumont, CA, outside Palm Springs, all the streets are named for golfers and golf courses. One of the streets is called "Braid Hills" and I know what that means!!! This is the "First" lounge as opposed to "First class" Concorde lounge. It IS confusing. BA really should rename it - Matt from Matt's Planet has suggested "Gold" lounge as really it's mainly Gold members who would use it. Anyone actually flying First Class would/should use the Concorde Lounge. The First lounge is quite nice but not significantly better than Galleries South and in some ways not as nice as the T5B Business/First lounge.

I am still confused as I went everywhere I could, so I am not sure where any other part of the lounge would be. As you saw, I went to the back section, facing the windows with the champagne bar, I thought that area was the highest level?

@@FreddySherman The Concorde Lounge is a separate lounge. From memory, you exit the First Lounge at 2:40 and go walk directly ahead.

No, I am a travel writer who was flying Club World as a guest of BA to experience the then-new Club Suite. I specifically asked my PR contact for access to the "First Class" lounge as I wanted to film a tour. I was thinking I was getting access to the lounge used by (as you asked) those holding First Class tickets on BA. I realized when I saw how crowded it was, it had to be the biz class lounge.

I really really loved that car. I get to drive a lot of different cars but not many of them are ones that I would really like to keep and that was certainly one.
