I got one in 223 it came with a 4 round magazine not 5. I questioned the dealer on the magazine size and he checked the distributor website, they only had 4 round magazines on their product list

Bought one, right out of the box it was defective and would not fire.

Mine did not have a "red" cocking indicator. The length of pull is over 14" and it would be hard to reduce it. (If it was too short you can use a limb saver or spacers to make it longer. I had a hard time to mount a scope back far enough to get good eye relief with that 14" LOP.

@@tleek I have a Rem700 sendero (heavy barrel) no muzzle break. A mate bought one in 270WIN shot it once and upgraded to a Howa.

@@tleek For some stupid reason they went out of their way to avoid having a recoil lug. they tried to re-invent the wheel and failed.

Late answer but it's threaded. Sauer 101 is heat pressed and the 100 threaded.

The barrel is shrink fit instead of screwed in. Not interested with that flaw. Barrels wear out and cannot be removed and a new barrel changed to replace it.

Put some backup fixed sights on the damn thing !!! Scopes can and do Fail. No excuse for any rifle not to have iron sights.

Scopes can and do Fail. Put some backup iron sights on the damn thing !!!!! Without irons, it becomes useless with a fogged up or damaged scope.

I have a Sauer 100 in 223 since April. Its is the worst feeding rifle I have ever had. Sauer/Blaser sent me a new redesigned centre fed magazine (the one in this video) and its worse. Won't feed a single round! It's back with the dealer again. Very disappointed. Should have bought a Tikka.

@@kymcustance2207 Factory rounds. Can't do reloads in my country. Anyway got problem sorted. It was a magazine issue. Sauer had to redesign the magazine for the .223 version. Fine now.

I bought one in 6.5x55 because Tikka couldn't give me a date as to when one would be in stock so after a year's waiting I got the Sauer 100 Classic xt. I have a couple of complaints. The stock is 14 1/4" lop. ( a shorter stock can be added on to but not vice versa with polymer stocks). The other problem is a feed issue. If you feed to slowly the round hangs up where the extractor doesn't ride over the cartridge head. You have to back it out a bit and then slam it home.
