I'm running a 30hp propped motor but like yourself have interests in rivers. How has the propped with a river runner help up in the shallow rivers? Cheers,

Every question I have had about Stryker boats, Jared has already made videos with the answers to all the questions I had. I mean I'm not even a customer yet and the customer service has already been outstanding. You could certainly pay less with other brands but for the quality I find that Stryker still has the best value for the price was also eyeballing the 420...I just haven't decided on lx, hd, or pro yet. I'll probably get a 20hp- 40hp merc depending whether I get the lx or the pro

Hi. I’m about to pull the trigger on the bike. Unfortunately there is no where to test ride. I’m looking at the Troy since I live in Minnesota but go to Colorado once in a while. 2 questions 1. Is the Gx build worth $300 more than the deore build. $3699 compared to $3399. And second, I’m concerned about the reach. I’m a little over 6 ft tall and 210 pounds. The reach is longer than anything else I’ve ridden. Do you find the reach an issue? I prefer to be a bit more upright. Thanks for any help.

Makes perfect sense ...you have those potential customers who don't want to buy a gas "toy" but will consider an EV "toy". If the range was equal to gas and the recharge was 15 mins to 90%... I'd buy one ..or two. Until then I'm waiting for the two 2025 850 Etec BC XRS 154"x2" machines we ordered to arrive at our dealer this fall. 😊 First new sleds ever, cant wait.

I have taken mine out in 2-3 chop, it will handle it but I go with my family so I am not after crazy chop. it will do it and wont harm anything, but we have it as our tender on our cabin cruiser and also going out in Howe Sound to have fun, but any small boat is not going to be good in massive seas.

Well the best would have been to ride both over that last few seasons, ride and expert and a summit x, it is almost impossible to tell the difference in a sled with just t-motion, and just flex edge, people say they notice but sorry we ride them back to back to back and it really comes down to what you get use to or adapt to. If you think you want flex edge but not t-motion then a summit x and add the t-motion xt from the expert but a bigger difference is in the skis, if you put salazzking ski rubbers in it makes the biggest difference, and going g5 is night and day over a G4,

I've got the UV5R model and I'm wondering if I can take it skiing. Not planning any backcountry skiing, just want to use it for fun with my buddies. My main concern is keeping it dry. Heard it's not waterproof, but it can handle a few splashes. I’m thinking of grabbing a silicon case for it too. What are your thoughts on this setup? Doubt it'll get wet often, maybe just a few times if I fall. Also it's good down to -20 Celsius.

Inflatable boats without hard bottom are not very stable in water and turning is reduced on inflatable as compared to hard bottoms
@DaveNorona

You might have to try one of these as we have been using it off our cabin cruiser and all the time in squamish for adventures and crab and prawning, boat gets on step quick, easy to steer, easy to turn on a dime and super fun and light, I am sure a hard bottom is awesome but these are super light and way less money. RIBs are better than SIBs for sure but SIBs are like a few thousand dollars compared to a RIB that will cost at least $50k unless used (which is a whole nother thing cause you likely will need to retube it at some point). Either way, SIBs and RIBs serve different purposes. For what it is, Stryker SIBs are some of the best out there and most legitimate SIBs are very much ocean worthy vessels compared to lake rafts from intex and the like.

Its genius but couldn’t they have thought of that sooner and made it standard on the G5? Also for $450 can’t see it being much value for most people 😕
@DaveNorona
@DaveNorona 4 ай бұрын
Your question is interesting as you say it has no value but then say why was it not thought of earlier? Engineers who think this stuff up are designing stuff 15-10 and 5 years in the future, when they design the sled the time it takes leave little for the engineering team to think up products that might work with it. Once people ride it and say hey be cool on thos etc then those parts get made and thought of, which answers why it all just does not come out right away. If it did you would have to be wow'd with a whole bunch of new stuff every year which is not possible in a timeline. This seat also fits G4 and G5 which is great so people who keep their sled longer can do upgrades to make them better easier and more fun and easier to ride. On the cost, yes it is a lot of money but compared to dirt bike seats etc it is not, the time etc to design products especially for a manufacture is a lot of cost. If someone made a seat like this with cost of material and design and build etc it would be the same cost or more, which is why you don't see many aftermarket companies doing this and if they did it would be more money! This seat has a place and will sell through. Some like the expert low seat, i would be one of those people, but some find it too hard and need more comfort so they buy a bigger seat and some will love this to get the belt out of that little pack on the back and away for a clean look and also out of sight from anyone who might steal it!

Hey Dave, I was wondering what kind of speeds and performance you were getting with your Pro 420 with a 20 hp Mercury? I am new to boating and I just got a Pro 420 with a 25 hp Mercury. I don't have a trailer with it and I want to keep it as portable as possible. I am on the Sunshine Coast and I like to take it down to the beach and inflate it and go. I find carrying around the 25 hp is a pain. My understanding there is over 50 lbs weight difference between the two and would be more manageable carrying from my truck to the beach to mount it. Cheers

sorry I dont know the speed but with our family 2 adults one 8 yr old and a small dog it rips. and I have had 6 kids and three adults, it does everything we need.
