I have been wearing the San Jose low top as a journeyman electrician doing service work for about 15 months I really like the boot for medium duty! granted I am in and out of office spaces or residential and never really hard on my boots. Now if I was on new construction sites like when I first turned out the San Jose boot wouldn’t last. But I’ll definitely look in to the Cincinnati if I am looking in to going back to new construction. Thanks for your review and good luck with the new boot!

Lived in southern Spain for ten years. Gas tankless water heaters are what almost every apartment and house had. Worked great. Never ran out of hot water.

The siligun is junk. It did not push the tube when I press. I had to use the other hand to push the tube. Also silicon continue to drip after I released

Is it ok to use more than one thermal bypass valve in the system? We just added a second story. The place where our loopback was, is not helpful to our current situation, nor was it helpful for our kitchen. I was hoping to leave the original loop back in place and add one for the second-floor bathroom and one in the kitchen. If not 3 how about 2?

Mmm seems like it might get a little claustrophobic with all the plumbing being at the top next to each other. Is this just an electric model or gas

Good myth busting! I've been using electric timers on my electric water heaters for over 30 years, in 3 different houses. I feel certain using them takes the cost of operation comparison out of the equation as my water heater comes on once a day, for one hour. The Timer cut my bill by about $50 a month. My heater is 80 gallons but, in the past, I had 60-gallon heaters and just ran them 2 hours per day (the timers can be programmed to numerous on/off cycles). My current heater is 26 years old, and yes, I flush it about every 5 years and inspect the anode, but I've been considering going tankless but likely won't since I'd need to run a much larger electrical circuit since the existing 30 amp circuit I have now won't cut it, and I probably couldn't use my existing generator automatically without overloading it unless I added some additional automation. There are lots of variables in play for what would seem to be a standard appliance!

This is how not to operate a power mate . You did that completely wrong. Your suppose to raise the equipment to balance the weight. If you would have used the lift properly it would have went very smoothly with no need for any help and little to no work

I there’s a male and female thread adapter for all pipes if they don’t already make an adapter I just can’t bring myself to use those things because if I do then I can’t sleep and I’m no better than a sleezy handyman. There’s always another way

I’ve use the Ridgid RT 175 and it’s little brother in areas where an open flame isn’t desirable. I don’t think they make it anymore. Open flame is still faster and I’m not going to invest in the tool for pro press since I’m retiring early in a few months. The Ridgid works the same way as this device. Once it gets going it moves right along. Drawback is dragging a heavy extension cord around so weigh your pros and cons

Couldn’t you use a sweat to MIP connector, or a compression to MIP? Or if not, use a sweat to (3/4”?) Male thread adapter, then use a female thread to hose connection to connect the hose? I understand it’s easier to use sharkbite, but an indoor area that’s permanently installed? People swear by them, but people also swear that harbor freight is the only place they get all their tools also. Also, wouldn’t it just make sense to add ball valves on each of those pipes, before the connections? That would be let’s say with markup, $100 more?
