To everyone having the index error; System.IndexOutOfRangeException: Index was outside the bounds of the array. at TS4SimRipper.CASP.MeshParts(Int32 LOD) at TS4SimRipper.Form1.GetCurrentModel(Boolean skinOnly) at TS4SimRipper.Form1.GetCurrentModel() at TS4SimRipper.Form1.DisplaySim(SimData sim, SimOccult occultState) at TS4SimRipper.Form1.sims_listBox_SelectedIndexChanged(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.ListBox.OnSelectedIndexChanged(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.ListBox.WmReflectCommand(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ListBox.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam) I found a solution. Make sure you have the windows64 file, and make sure you have the LATEST sims ripper from GITHUB. Do that and it should work just fine :)

google "Lolabellesims" marvelous designer avatar and click the top sims4studios link, scroll just a bit until you find the download link in one of the replies to the original comment.

The reason why that type of hair looks like a plane in blender is because it uses alpha textures to simulate hair strands, basically it's just images with transparent background projected into a plane, you need to enable it in the shaders tab in blender.

oh my god you are AMAZING!! Ive been downloading cc for the sims 4 for about 5 years now and was always so frustrated when there was a piece of clothing I wanted for my sims and I couldn't find it! I have a super long summer Holliday this year and I was thinking picking up a project like learning how to make my own cc would be super fun... anywayyys I downloaded sims4studio and the blender app tried following sooooo many tutorials and they were all SO CONFUSING that I gave up. Found your vid in a last ditch attempt to maybe figure it out and you make it look SO much more doable thank you!!!

Update: I asked a friend and you have to go into file/user preferences/input/and then emulate numpad ! Your tutorial was working so great for me but I’m stuck because a lot of the buttons you’re selecting on your keyboard aren’t the same for me, when I select them the action doesn’t perform so now I don’t know how to follow along/what to do :(
