Hi - what sort of games are you into? This isn't really designed for games, the Celeron N4020 is also getting a bit old now. The main way to game on a Chromebook is with cloud gaming, services like GeForce Now. The good news is that means the power of your local device (your Chromebook) matter a bit less, but you'll still want some power. Check out Chromebook Plus models, they'll have a minimum Core i3 (12th Gen) and 8GB RAM, plus Full HD IPS displays that will be a lot nicer for gaming on that this 11.6 inch TN display as I explain in the video. If you're looking at this Chromebook and thinking about playing Roblox, would your budget stretch to consider a Chromebook with the slightly newer Pentium Silver N6000 and 8GB RAM? Hi, in 2024 there will generally always be a better option unless you really need the rugged design. The Celeron N4020 is getting a bit old now. It will however do the job, you could just likely find something with at least the N4500 or Pentium Silver N6000 and a bigger full HD display to make working on it for longer nicer. Which processor version are you seeing, I think either the MT8173 or MT8183 ? Either way I think it's really a false economy now, pay a little more for a Chromebook with a newer processor and longer ChromeOS update life. Yeah, one of those models that has hung about or had too much stock. I wish retailers would clearly advertise the date the model was released and critically for Chromebooks the date that ChromeOS updates will stop for them. At least this is a more premium model, when you see it with 4 year old entry level models with prices that match new models it's criminal really.

Thanks for your kind words, I really appreciate it and am glad you're enjoying the content. We'll have to see if there's another flavour of this Acer 311 with a MediaTek processor. The older generation Spin I show has the MT8183 and there was a version with the Intel Celeron N4000, I can't remember for sure if they did the same with the regular clamshell 311, but it's not unheard of. Let's see though, I'm sure there will be a lot more MediaTek based Chromebooks on the way.

Cool. Those just seemed most relevant here. I'm not convinced the CX1400 Flip is going to be great, but I won't cast judgement before being hands on with it. It'd certainly be interesting. From a bit of a scan it doesn't seem like it was or is too popular here in the UK, where are you based? Thanks, good point. I think it's just a case of having to move them after though I'm afraid. Having an option for one default sub folder might be handy, but I guess would fit the likely more common use case of needing to move specific files to specific folders.

With this printer it's less about the label size (as you're pretty much constrained to the 62mm width continuous label roll) and more about the process I show in my videos for scaling down the graphic of the label to fit. My affiliate links to some example label rolls are in the video description and I think the pinned comment. Might be worth watching the last video I did in this series, using Royal Mail labels, but it's the same process/approach - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/hLZ9f82Kxqy6mWw.html All of this is generally fine for doing 1 off labels but if you're doing them in bulk it'll become a bit slow.

If you can please do compare the availability of the two newer generations that have come out since. Have you seen my videos on them? You may not get the same colour choice, but you will get a better performing Chromebook with a longer update life.

What do you see in Diagnostics?

I've used it with Fortnite for example and yes all smooth and display is nice, I don't have any exact stats - more dependant on your internet connection really. Have you been using it on a lower powered Chromebook?

@Asadc1995 yeah I mean that plus the modern Intel Core i3-N305 processor, pretty decent screen etc all help with the load and experience but Internet connection is key. Check out some of my other recent reviews of 8GB Chromebooks, I always show a bit of some gaming (some local Android games too, but even they will have a cloud element). Only the emulators are really truly local to the device I guess.
