Ummm... Christianity in both the U.S. and the D.R. has heavily been influenced by the culture. More so in the U.S. But in the D.R. there is more ignorance of God. A lack of Knowledge of Who God is. The D.R. like many latin countries is very Roman Catholic which is according to chapter 25 of the Westminister Confession of Faith the Anti Christ. And when it comes to Protestantism, its not Reformed which is ironic since there is a Bible on the flag. Pentacostal is technically Baptist. But its highly emotional and feelings based. Not led by Truth. There are a few Reformed Churches in Santo Domingo but not many.

Havent seen the video yet and I'll will but just before let me say...YES YOU CAN! If you dont fall in the living in the center on capital city which is absurd the amount you pay like if you see any house price in USD they are scamming you, cause I live 4 kms away from center and I pay 200$ for a 3 room house which is like 190m2, I know some people like the living like a king life but the minimun wage here is just 400$

On a path towards basic fluency, what would you say are the 5 or so most useful/practical tenses to learn? Thanks
@user-mz7de3kc3d22 күн бұрын
Only 5 aren’t going to be enough unfortunately
@kara.g.11 күн бұрын
This is a good question! Learning all the Spanish tenses and conjugations can be a lot to take on. I would suggest focusing on simple present, present progressive, preterite, imperfect, and future. Once you get those down, you should be able to maneuver basic conversations until you can learn the rest. Hope this helps!

Thanks. It was nice to watch. You look beautiful. I liked the words Frugar and Bobo and Amalitos which meant little friends. I speak English as my second learned language but I just studied Spanish for a year in my college days. I remember a few words. I just say a few words mostly like gracias, bien, muy bien, bonita mostly. I like a few songs in Spanish. Thanks for your video. Have a nice day : )

The dominicans like most countries even the US dont report their crimes. It doesnt help them in any way. Also most rural towns and villages around the world have their families or some local acting as the mayor. Theyre not reporting crimes even within the country so well never know the true crime rate or which countries more dangerous unless theres civil unrest civil war or global war between countries

Thank you for your honesty. I am not the only one who thinks Vivaia shoes are a letdown. A couple of my favorite KZfaqrs recommended the brand, and one of the selling points was walking in the rain without worries and without resorting to boots. I thought they were comfortable at home, but when I wore them to church for the first time, I barely made it after the service. I agree with your ratings. I don’t care whether Vivaia “improves” its products, but I an done with this grossly overhyped brand.
@kara.g.Ай бұрын
Oh gosh, that's a bad sign when a pair of shoes isn't even comfortable for church! That's usually the bare minimum of walking. ☹ Thank you for watching and sharing your experience!
