Me and my buddy agreed that this is along with Bad Wolf and The Parting Of The Ways are RTD’s strongest finales from his first era, the reason I love Doomsday so much is because it’s a three part battle between the Daleks, the Cybermen and The Doctor and 10 is completely stuck in the middle trying to stop both armies while also saving Earth AND Rose and her family, the balance Russell was able to get with this entire story is honestly amazing and is the number one choice for me every time I’m asked which finale is the best from Modern Who

This scene is funny but it’s also weirdly a good little bit of drama that characterises the two races. I really like the contrast of the cybermen (who have no emotion) vs the daleks (who retain the emotions of hate, disgust, anger.) When the cyberleader talks to the daleks over skype at the end, you can see it’s asking leading questions to assess threat level (after determining that the daleks seemingly can’t be reasoned with). The dalek in contrast is actively expressing a level of disgust and even ridicule.

I remember when this movie first came out but I never watched it until this week. I had to come find out if my intuition was on point and get confirmation because I knew what it was when I saw it. The shaman imprinted his spirit into him as a child to pass that power before passing away. It was too much for him to handle in his own life. His artistic talent helped get out the energy but the mind is a different space. To be gifted is an overwhelming lane. It’s a gift and a curse.

It was stupid to make the Darlek flying more convincing when they had there's flying chariots. Now it seems the Darlek are more invincible really stupid l'm 63 grow up with the classic DR WHO from the beginning early 60s John Pertwee was my favourite DR WHO Spearhead from space is my number one 1⃣ Favourite. I'm from the Caribbean lived in England from 1963 as for the black Dr who he seems to be dancing and rapping comical theatrical forget it.
