Didn't flick the straps and say "that's not going anywhere"

That is pretty awsome Sir. Viewers note no roof rack required.

Looks like a well thought out system. However, it takes a lot of room. The parking lots that I often use are far to crowded for this to work for me.

Great for loading but I do not think I would trust it to drive down the road in the wind with out a secure roof rack tie down in the middle ? But I could be wrong might use a bolt instead of the cotter pin dealies on those things also. I have a 16fit cedar canvas and used to use a goalie post deal on the back of the pick up but would have to tack the topper off to use it and thinking this might be great definitely is for loading. Too scary when I see what the idiots do with their canoes I see on the highway. Insane and lousy bungee cords also and the canoes are crooked and moving around. Anyhow thanks for the video good way to load

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. The loader actually stabilizes the rear of the boat. When loaded and strapped the boat can't go right, left, forward or backward. Takes all the worry out of that quick stop and "launching" the boat. I've had it on the interstate driving through severe weather and wind with no worries. On the other hand, I've seen canoes tear the roof racks completely off of vehicles.... Thanks again!

This is fantastic. I've considered selling my Old Town because it was too awkward to load and transport by myself. Now I can look forward to truly enjoying it whenever I want.

Looks like you need at least 20 feet of space on one side and behind your car. What happens if you don't?

Can you paste links to the tools being used in this video
Rover Dude Adventures here , I like this device , I get many emails asking for ways to lift kayaks or canoes on roof , but this looks good, I may buy one to test and post a video for viewers , hopefully it’ll be good for some. Better than breaking your back Lol.

This link should explain. The actual "hitch mount" measures 6 inches. fb.watch/6ZuTea44p6/

How well would this work on a Tahoe with crossbars and canoe rack? Would it go high enough? Usually I have strapped down in the middle as well, just the ends strapped is sufficient?
@myka34493 жыл бұрын
Height can be modified at the receiver. Email the attached address and I'll send a few images. Long distance or highway, I would strap the middle also just to be safe. If anything else, [email protected] Thanks!

Did you have it on tight enough ?

I would normally double check it a time or two before I put it on the road!!

I like the wheelie gadget! I have a canoe loader. My biggest problem is that my heavy aluminum canoe really doesn't want to flip upside down. However, this thing works great with our tandem kayak.

Where did you get the wheels that are attached for rolling the canoe?
@frederickweber19796 жыл бұрын
Myka used to manufacture and sell those. They were discontinued last year and replaced with the "portable" dolly. Part #0108-00 - mycanoebuddy.com
