Perfect diagnosis - just had a KRK Rokit 7 G4 die for no reason on friday. Found it was the same capacitor (component C7 on the power board) issue as shown here (after first testing it wasn’t a fuse issue). 84 cents for a new capacitor later - new capacitor installed - good as new. Am in Melbourne Australia.

Hello, it is nice video on PA speaker issue diagnosis. Question - I have a mackie Thump12a speaker. When connect to music source, there a very feeble high frequency music heard from twitter but the woofer doesn’t sound. But observed that momentarily the sounds right for a second from woofer and goes back to feeble sound. This happens couple of times in first 2-3 minutes. I feel it could some kind of protection override. Any suggestions?

Thank you for this. I just bought one of these from someone and, lo and behold, it won't store any settings or patterns after I switch it off, so I guess the battery needs replacing. I managed to find what looks like the same battery holder on amazon (20mm between the pins) so thank you for all that detail including the orientation to fit it.

I have a zoom r16. It powers on no problem, but there is no sound from the stereo outputs, or headphones, and there is no signs of life from the individual tracks, or stereo master track, but when I give it a little tap, everything lights up and works perfectly, until I give it another tap, then it goes back to how it was. Is there anything you could suggest to help fix this problem? Thanks for any information.

Dear Sir, i have the receiver model svx288. It has the problem with channel A, the radio signal in the receiver is not stable, it’s continously switching between A and B signal. А что приходит при нажатии клавиш? Я так понимаю что на каждой клавише что то вроде двух свичей, так что временной интервал между нажатиями которых трактуется микроконтроллером как сила нажатия. Но вот если клавиатура еще поддерживает послекасание, то как это реализованно? И можно ли где то найти распиновку шлейфов которые идут от клавиатуры. В теории ведь можно взять что то вроде ESP32 и реализовать тот функционал что есть на этом сгоревшем микроконтроллере.
