I sold my wdm20 after 30 years of use..such a great machine,simple and reliable...always in my heart❤ this bike somehow created me as a man ..ridden from my teen age till last year at my 52 years....salutations from Greece

Fun fact: In the philippines, we call it Honda TMX (tricycle model extreme) 125 The manual stated "Do not attach a side car it will ruin the handling" while Honda Philippines was like "yea fam this is the perfect bike to attach a side car too" 😭😂

When I was at school I wanted a 650SS, even then they were rare. In the end I got a standard 1964 750 Atlas. It had the same beutiful seat you have, same good looking but useless clocks. This bike was already 10 years ild and I was competing against the first Superbikes. OK it got café racered. Combat Comando engine, aluminum everywhere, it would go but not stop. On the front I was using the twin leading shoe off of an early comanndo. This still braked like a wet rag. I had two choices, there is a stiffening kit for the TLS , alternatively a Manx front brake that was said to be good. I went radical. I found a double sided Norton 83 break on a racing sidecar outfit. Adapted my forks, skimmed the hubs (very important) fitted racing green linings. This baby STOPS! However, I now am 67 yerars old so for my sins I have bought a 1963 650SS, concurs standard right down to a 64 tax disk. It is smoother, more comfortable ride than my Atlas Café Racer, well balanced. You say it doesn't handle like a modern bike, well I own and have owned RD350LCs Ducati 900s, VFR Hondas. I can tell you a 650SS can danse like a ballerina in bed (don't ask the que'stion I have) However What I learnt when I first got on a VF 1000 honda was that THIS thing goes round corners at 130MPH+. For your front brake. Keep it standard, , take it to Mick Hemmings Norvil , andover or another Norton specialist and get it skimmed and reshoed..

I have one of those in orange with a high pipe. 6,000 original miles for$250. My best bargain in my collection of vintage British motorcycles. Not so shiny paint but still good.

My Dad owned an A10 Flash. I have a picture somewhere of me as a baby being held by my mum who was sitting on the bike. My plan is to buy one and spend a summer touring around England on it.

Hmmmm , . Don't need to remove the chain to remove rear wheel he said . I changed a tyre a few days ago on my nbc110 and I removed it all . I'm even wondering now if I even needed to remove the the brake shoe plate , or if there was sufficient wiggle room to leave it attached and dangling . But then the axle rod mustn't be pulled out completely I'd say , enough axle has to remain to support the sprocket spindle.

I had a CG125 that I'd purchased in 1977 new with £319 cash. Later fitted crash bars, rear carrier & top-box. It was a great little bike & way better than my previous Yamaha YB100. It got me from Dovercourt, through, Holland, Belgium, to Marseille in the south of France & return, without any hiccups at all. Two-up with a tent lashed upon the front mudguard, tank bag, BIG panniers & top-box obviously full; averaged 103 mpg as well. Used it most days for work & finally sold it around 1985-87-ish. Very sad to let it go. Somehow you get very attached to an old faithful. One thing I would disagree with though; the headlight really needed to brighter. I vaguely seem to remember it being 30 or 35 watts, using the old type incandescent bulbs. It really needed 45 - 50 watts imho. I suppose now it's simple to buy a modern replacement LED only drawing 20-watts of power, but maybe twice as bright.

We need to get back to basic transport like this , simple to make, to fix and cheap to buy and run, cars have gone ridiculously expensive and the more expensive they get the more tax the government gets , the problem is people are being utterly conned by cheap pcp payments not understanding the balloon payment at the end.
