Hey, I realize that it has been 6 years since the airing of this video, But I have a quick question. I have the GMC Sierra like this truck. I have rebuilt the transmission twice and I was wondering if you have had any issues like that? The first rebuild was at 82K and the second was at 120K.

I have a GMC Sierra version of that truck with 128K on it. I have had to get the transmission rebuilt twice. Have you had any issues like that?

I was a little sad that you got rid of your old truck because I have the same truck and you gave me some ideas for mine. lol That being said, I also completely understand why you got rid of it and chose an older model truck. Uncle same has destroyed the reliability of the big three auto manufactures with their emissions bs.

I would be down to build some target racks up there on my dime, wouldn't cost much, a few shooting benches would be nice too.

Haaaahaaaaa! I'm staying with my 2008 silverod ! You have to put oversize transmission cooler on those 4L60 on up ! UUUU have to get tuner on dash to tell you what Your Rodo wants to communicate to Uuuuuu! Like hey baby your over heating my Vaginia so slow the strokes down sweetie ! I have Edge on dash for last 8 years and I'm updating. Every year you have to give your Baby a tune up . I mean pull the plugs replace them with new , plug wires , airfilter . Change your oil regularly. Check your rear end fluid. Change it . I'm running 4.56 gears . Stage 2 Transmission. Rebuilt 5.3 with big cam , springs . It has used back vacuum out the valve cover I thinking how I can use that for ? Massive vacuum. The 5.3 is running over 400 hp it actually almost burnt my transmission so the 28 000 lb cooler from Australia keeps it cool . 175 out there in Texas heat . I just took 9ff my mickey tumb 295 65 18 foor some 295 70 18 Nitto all terrian and it rides like a Benz . I'm looking to put 6.2 in there next year .

Shpuld habe shot it at 40 psi not 60 thats why you had so luch over spray and went through all 6 cans it shouldnt habe taken but probably 4 to do the inside of that truck ive seen people shoot a entire vehicle with 6 cans and have a little left over

I have same truck & lift. But I got rc upper control arms with my lift & no problem with over extending. Luckily we didn't breathe power steering plug.

Instead of buying a new truck why didn’t you have the trans gone through, billet converter, red eagle clutches, kolene steels, billet bypass valve, and an aux cooler. That setup wouldn’t overheat or let you down

The site is awesome, but is is actually NOT a site. It falls outside of the BLM dispersed camping. There is no camping or fires allowed at Schenbly Vista. The BLM dispersed sites start a few miles down toward 17... Just an FYI for those folks that may follow your lead --- you may be fined.

Take it from someone that spent entire career modifying train car frames…angle cuts or zig zags are unnecessary with proper football plates. Yes they look cool. Measure 3 times and cut straight 1 time. Try to avoid using any fish plates with pointed ends…it creates a weak spot. Football plate or oval shape are best.
