What if my spindle length is 133 mm? It's a Shimano crankset 200GS. Not a very high end system. Does anyone make those anymore?

Just did this today with my new-to-me 1993 Specialized RockHopper I picked up on Sunday. The rear shifter was in the same state as the one in this video, Thank you!

Been running my 65nm Bosch ebike with a KMC X8 chain, Shimano HG 51 cassette, & old Shimano Deore LX RD-M565 derailleur for a while now & it's a very reliable, durable combination. The old derailleur is superb, much better than new models imo.

Bikeman, you are officially my new hero; well bike hero anyway. Thanks a million! Just removed the stem from a rusty 1973 Schwinn Continental using your method. So easy!

With a 25y old bike I attest this works. Was googling for new shifters when this popped up. 10 min job and they work like new. Used a multi spray to clean and some oil to lubricate. Should have known this 10 years ago lol. Thanks 👍
