I always love the Pitch Meeting! As for Indiana Jones, I have never seen any of them (feel my shame 😔). Eventually, I hope to watch them; at least the first one. Anyhoo, out of all the people listed who could have played that role, Steve Martin is the only one with genuine acting talent that could have done it. Not _better_ than Harrison Ford; just that he could have done a good job at the role. 😁

Tim Matheson played the boyfriend of Karen Allen ( Marion) in the amazing "Animal House". In that movie as well she was cheating on him sleeping with her much older professor.

That last scene baffles me the most like why would you just put it in some warehouse like this could be the most powerful thing in the world.

I think Selleck probably would have killed it as Indy, they had his screen test and he did pretty well but Ford was the better choice after Tom had to back out

I love the original trilogy. Iconic movies. They were silly, action packed, had some romance and wrapped in a package with nazis and explosions. Great show. The scene were he fights the big bruting nazi at the rotating propellar airplane. Great stuff.

Look, the reason it's so bad is because in Canon and Legends it took Darth Plagues (Palpatine's Master) a lifetime to artificial impregnate a woman (Anakin's origin).j Episode 3 isn't just SJW shoehorned, it's one of those things where a diverse character takes the thunder out of a core character's accomplishments and belittles it. Like how Captain Marvel stole the title of First Avenger from Captain America or how Miranda in Resident Evil VIII stole the title of the villain who started it all. On a side note, I get what you mean by your Christianity references, but I think comparing the Holy Spirit, Chi, Mana, Seidyr and other forms of spiritual energy and source of miracles would be better.

So... this implies that it was always in the script to have Belloq eat the bug... which means they intentionally coordinated that... All jokes aside, if you look closely, the bug actually flies away.

If they were to reboot the franchise right now, the obvious choice would be Ryan Reynolds. Maybe Andrew Garfield or Jake Gyllenhaal.

lol Temple of Doom scarred me as a child. I was 6 when my parents got it on VHS back in the 80s. I walked into the room just in time to see a dude’s heart pulled out of his chest. 9:06

Harrison Ford in his prime was one the most charismatic actors ever. It's hard to imagine another actor bringing this same level of grumpy charm to Indiana Jones. That charm is the the main thing that makes these movies great, imo. I actually think Bill Murray would have done the best job with the attitude and line delivery. But I don't know if he could have sold the physicality. There's a reason Murray's never done a real action movie.

The staff would only be about 5 feet tall because the other side of the medallion says take one back, so Indy would be about 4 feet tall. Reboot with Peter Dinklage!!!

I believe Tom Selleck’s contract for Magnum PI required him to have the mustache (a natural one) and the actor for Indiana Jones needed to be clean shaven. The video covering this was a few years ago, but I’m pretty sure that was the biggest hang up with Tom playing Indiana.
@jaquesshugossen93989 сағат бұрын
Tom Selleck did get to star in his own "form" of Indiana Jones in "High Road To China" which is really not a bad movie. There is charm, action and humour in it. That been said, I think Ford may have been born to play this part as well as Han Solo.

Didn’t Indy destroy the plane they were shipping it back to Germany on? If it had gone on the plane it would have gone directly to hitler who would have understood the power of the ark. And probably would have tested it on some Jewish people

@@OnMyMindEntertainment No problem! Yeah, the show definitely has an agenda, but most of them do now. That's definitely not why the show is bad. As you said, it is very boring. I had hopes for it, but ugh. I'll finish it since I started it, but it's not looking good.
