Beyond Stanley and the military base there's very little paved road and you need a vehicle with a bit more clearance. West Falkland doesn't have any paved roads.

Stanley is as neat looking a town as you could ask for. It shows what pride the Falklanders take in their country. Little wonder that they had no damned interest in being annexed by Argentina!
