Awesome idea to use Ride with GPS for the support drivers. 👍

Crazy question, stay with me here. 😂 I can ride elevation near me, I live in northeastern Oklahoma. But most of the elevation around me is on roads that I am not comfortable being on almost no shoulder and poor road surface quality. I recently rode part of our cross state ride 180 miles over four days right at 6000 feet of elevation. My question to you all is, of the 19,000 feet in elevation how much of that do you get back pretty easily just because you’re coming off a roller or another downhill? 25%? Less? More? Thx!!!

Love the podcast, great information. My brother and I are riding this year, do you have any recommendation’s for transportation from Burlington to Glenwood?

Wow, a bald eagle! I ride the local segment of the Mississippi River Trail all the time (New Orleans), and I see bald eagles quite often.

The twinkies are a treat. This will be the first year we offer them to the public. Normally they are for 10 lucky friends. AINT NO BS BBQ. We'll be under the shelter house in Melcher/Dallas park.

Rain tips: Avoid the painted lines, they get very slick. If you run clinchers, take 5-10 pounds of pressure out of your tires. brake evenly if you just use the rear you have a good chance to skid.

When it comes to parking I think it’s best to park at the end town so when the ride is over you’re at your car already and don’t have to spend the last day hauling butt to the end

Great podcast! I can imagine people waiting for a sag and the wrong van arrives. The others drivers may now hear, “no thanks, we’re waiting for Coz and Joe.” 😂
