Do I have to turn on the heater?

Is there a way to do this with the divide tool? I've tried editing the component, and going through the procedure to divide the circles but it won't them let me push the holes through the board. It keeps making the circles their own component instead of making them part of the board like it should (triple-clicked on the board).

Just replaced water pump, t stat, fan clutch qnd now not getting any heat through heater in my 2002 ram 1500 4.7. Would a clogged heater core cause slight overheating?

Mine sprays like a fountain. seemingly no air bubbles, coolant warm so thermostat should be open. no heat. My guess is clogged heater core? anyone?

I have this engine in my Jeep and the A/C compressor went out on me last week. I was fixing to replace the compressor with a pulley, but I see I can just get a shorter belt and bypass it. What is the length of the serpentine belt that you put on this? Thanks!!

what size of hex key did you use for the valve? I have an 01 wj, I did a flush and none of my keys SAE or metric fit. all too small or too big. this is blowing my mind I was told its a 8mm but 8mm is too big, 7mm too big, 6 too small, and 1/4 too small and 5/16 too big. this is blowing my mind i have my jeep sitting waiting for coolant as i type this

What happens if coolant is leaking from out of the bleed screw with screw in place?

You're right about turning your heater on if your engine is over heating but as for opening the windows is a joke in a Dodge truck. I've replaced each window regulator in my wife's '03 Dakota just for each regulator cable to snap. They make them with cheap plastic parts that hold a cable with alot of tension. I wish I could replace them with a the gear ones but they won't work. I may make a trip to our local machinist to copy the parts with metal. But other than that totally agree.

FWIW, this was taken after replacing my radiator when the upper hose connector shattered. The engine did overheat, which lead to replacing the timing cover gasket a few months later. At that time, I flushed out all the green crap and switched over to Zerex G-05. Fast forward to this past August, we suffered a dropped valve seat. The right head grenaded when the rocker came down sideways on it's lash adjuster, dumping most of the oil all over a Walmart parking lot. After replacing the engine with a slightly used reman, I got to bleed the coolant yet again with some G-05. Moral of the story... do NOT let your engine overheat. Ever. You will drop a valve seat. Maybe not next week or next month, but eventually it will drop.
