Hello,I heard from one of our acquaintances that someone who comes to Sweden and completes his master's degree, his income starts at around 40,000 kroner. Do you think this number is correct?

Hello. Hope, the Sweden is always still current. I like so much your study room. It's big. Especially the kitchen area with a lot of storage. It's a cosy mood. I wish you many success, the hapiness, too for you. Good Luck for your studies. Good bye 👋🙃🙂😉

i think it really depends on the country! for me since i came from a EU country it was pretty easy, since i did a semester abroad as part of the erasmus program. if you want to do a full degree in sweden then i would suggest looking up on the specific university you're interested in :) there's a lot of info on their websites!

How do you balance studying abroad with applying for internships? I am a Freshman and don't know many Comp Sci majors who study abroad, so any info would be appreciated.

it was a bit of a stressful task, but i'd say just start looking at internship options early on, and have a clear idea of where you want to apply/know the deadlines! and i would 100% recommend studying abroad for a semester :)

i honestly did enjoy it so much! end of august-september is a great time to be there, ofc it gets a bit hard with the amount of day light during the end of the year, but i personally didn't mind it as much since we also got some snow, and i traveled around as well (northern lights etc) :) but i know that spring is also amazing there <3 i wouldn't necessarily wait until spring, but if you have both options and prefer longer days, i bet it's a nice time to go there

Hello! A Spanish guy right here. I want to study a Software Engineering Masters degree there in Denmark, do you recommend the experience? Is it worth it? Is there a lot of pressure between handling university studies and working? Thx a lot 🙏😊

@emmabarolin Жыл бұрын
hi! I'm currently doing a master's in Denmark and I would say it is totally worth it! Working part-time while studying is very common here and has a lot of benefits, so I would definitely recommend it, but of course you can always just focus on your studies at first :)

How do you get an internship abroad?
@emmabarolin
@emmabarolin Жыл бұрын
oh there are many ways to get one, in my case it was through a partnership program in my home university where they had some connections! then i found positions and applied to them, so i still had to go through a normal interview process, but the connection definitely helped

love this vlog!! I'm a y2 cs student from Singapore. I'm keen on going to Sweden for exchange during my third year. May I check with you if the courses are taught in Swedish or English? If it is in Swedish, was it hard to pick up this new language?
@emmabarolin
@emmabarolin Жыл бұрын
all courses were in english for me! they have a big variety of english courses in sweden (i took some master's courses though, so i guess it depends on which level you need to take) :) i don't think you should have a big problem with that!

Thanks to the author of the channel for this fascinating video! It is interesting to see how people live in other countries! It is very important to know foreign languages on such trips. I would like to recommend to all travelers a practical guide to learning foreign languages by Yuriy Ivantsiv " Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages". This book contains a lot of useful tips on how to learn a foreign language for tourists, students, entrepreneurs and anyone who needs a foreign language in life. There are a lot of good tips on how to solve problems with the language from beginner to advanced level of language learning. It turns out that the traveler only needs to know a few dialogues and you can easily travel around the world! You don't have to spend a lot of time to fully learn a foreign language, you just need to learn what you can use when you travel. I wish everyone exciting travels!
