We're combining wheat in western ND, looks good from the road, only a half a crop coming in the hopper

Subsoil moisture levels are the 2nd driest in the last 100 years in the large soybean growing states in Northern Brazil. It bears watching Sept - Nov.

No emergency rate cut before September. This is an election year after all. Also 0.2% of the rise in unemployment rate for July is temporary weather related. Economy still slowing but not that bad.

The economy isn't as good as the government tells us it is. How many months did they go back & revise the job numbers down? They've been lying all for a long time & it's catching up to them. It's no difference with the frauds at the usda.

Thank goodness someone is stating some bullish factors for the grains. It was beginning to sound like they were worthless and there was no need to harvest them. Thank you Shawn.
@wd3198124 күн бұрын
Also you don’t have a clue of Brazilian agriculture if your talking soil moisture in Brazil. Brazil has a dry season where they get less than 1” a month in June, July, Aug. You are really showing how clueless are and are letting your perma bullishness take over. Last years failure of “epic drought”. Should give you pause for your analysis.

They most definitely are not raising old crop exports. They are overestimated. And crops are much better than you think.

Everyone being indoctrinated and blasted with the CO2 cow fart thermostat theory propaganda needs to watch this to get a little education. Climate grift is a business model so they've got to make money and scare people into power somehow I guess. Great video guys.

These low prices coupled with high inputs and four dry years followed by super wet this year here in North central Iowa has led me to the point where I am quitting grain farming at the end of this year. Everything in ag is manipulated to the point where you can only make a living farming by running way too many acres for me. I say if the big farmers want to pay way too much for land to buy or rent and feed all of us while barely making any money on a per acre basis then I will let them have the stress but I don’t want to hear them complaining about it. Run corn down to $3.50 and let them squeal to someone else.

So all this moisture and storminess in the mideast and midwest is El Nino's last gasp before we switch to a drier and warmer summer pattern more indicative of a growing La Nina. It wouldn't surprise me. We've seen it before; 1983, 2012 and maybe even 2020. 1988 was in a class by itself as we were already in a full-on La Nina by late spring. I recall 90+ degree days every day in July that year with overnight lows in the 80's. Never want to see that again.

My Dad was a young boy growing up on an Iowa farm during the 'dust bowl' years of 1934-6. 100+ degrees every day in July followed by epic winters due to heavy snowfall, blizzards and persistent cold.

Of course its going to get planted. Even in '19 when the planted acres came out we still had 8 million acres of corn to plant but the frauds at the usda said they were all planted because the farmers "intended" to. So as long as the intension is there they'll count it as planted even though its not. Its called corruption and manipulation

I don't think the usda has said the Russian wheat crop isn't a record so why would wheat go up? So the market believes the Russian wheat crop is going down but not the SA crop? Laughable 😂
