In the 90s, Berlin was known for its underground rave culture. AURORA also stated: “I’m a very big fan of The Prodigy and Underworld and Chemical Brothers. I think that kind of music is very cool.” The song addresses the disconnection modern life imposes on humans. The techno inspiration in the song contrasts with its theme. While rave music is typically associated with sweaty, closed and overcrowded places, the song is about a person starving for connection.

Amazing album. I love this song. I even was able to like this techno part (after more then one listen) and currently it is in my top favorites. And the video...
