Thoroughly enjoyed this- great job on every one of them! Dont be too hard on your painting, you are zooming in real close to see the results of the conversions painted up and almost everyones painting cant stand up to that scrutiny at such close range! fantastic job, keep up the great work! Regards, Dan.

You can also find some Folgore combat veterans of El Alamein on KZfaq talking about their experiences. They’re in Italian with subtitles but listen to how they say it.

Hoi. Fascinating video. I have a quick question about sourcing a part: I am looking for US Army heads with glasses (I'm trying to represent a historical figure), but can't find any from what I can see of Warlord's sprues. I saw you had a guy with a US helmet and glasses when demonstrating a shirtless artillery man. Any thoughts?
@scalehistoryslc819
@scalehistoryslc819 4 күн бұрын
@@nerdherd1819 yes! That head is on the US Army sprue. There are two versions, one from the launch of Bolt Action and a newer version that came out a few years ago - you want the newer sprue

Those all look great, but you forgot to change the boots on the US Paratrooper from M1943 “two buckle” boots to the earlier jump boots. The Warlord US Paratrooper kit is so great for kitbashing since the M1943 uniform and boots were worn by everyone by the end of the war. All you need to do is trim off the straps on the cargo pockets and they can be used to represent late war US infantry. Even some Marines wore US Army two buckle boots!

Love the Afrika Corps soldier the most. But that technique where you changed the Blitzkrieg German soldier, from a kneeling to a "heroic" standing pose, was really creative. A pose change like that I will definitely try in my own army, to give it more variation. Thanks for the awesome series, already can't wait for the next one!

This is not really a kitbash I imagine, more green stuff work to fix some details, but I would love to see you make Greeks out of the Italian plastics. Really the only (to my eye) glaring "mistake" is that the Italian troops' uniforms have lapels (except those wearing the Sahariana smock, but that doesn't really look like a jacket) while on the Greek uniform they're closed - the same difference exists between Afrikakorps and normal German uniforms.
