@@sovietball2161 Just the camera position makes it a little hard to tell. But a contrabass clarinet is WAYY taller. That’s a bari sax.

I like it. It is cute that it seems to be centered on a uke but builds to such a jam. It sounds like you have a acquired a few more instruments. Was that a Hammond organ playing in there?
@SeanFuller Жыл бұрын
Very cool! I'm envious though. I have all of those except the Bari Sax and the Bass Clarinet. I see this was 2019, so you probably have a few more by now. I counted my instruments (not instrument types) the other day and I had around 77.

Love the range of instruments that you can play, though the alto sax was a bit sus and the accordion's sound hurt my soul (also, no straps?). Other than that though, really nice playing!

I have to ask: How do you practice when you play so many instruments? Do you just devote all of your time to music? I'm trying to branch out a bit.
@pivotcup25804 жыл бұрын
Just over time pick them up dude. That's the best way. There's no wrong way to do it. Find one you like, and just go for it. The internet has so many resources for learning.

What are the notes for Bb clarinet?
@JogohDLC3 жыл бұрын
I just saw this video today, hope you found the answer, but if you didn't, if you're playing in C scale then you're gonna play the normal D E F G E C D, it will sound like C D Eb F D Bb C, but if you're gonna play so it sounds like the meme, you play like it's in D, so you're gonna play E F# G A F# D E and it will sound as In the key of C

If you're interested in playing modern music like rock or something, it's good to learn about transposing instruments and concert pitch, hope I helped you
@JogohDLC3 жыл бұрын
Idk if you need to learn this when playing classical music, but it's good to learn about it 'cause the fingerings of the Bb trumpet sound different, like if you play an E it will come out as D

No difference - except for worse intonation with the backun products. Check for yourself with the tuner.

What you say makes absolutely NO SENSE!! His mouthpiece and reed setup are exactly the same using backun and not using backun. The stock R13 barrel bell both sound strained and thin. A different setup with the backun bell and barrel may be good.

I own a Backun FatBoy with my R-13 for about 8 months and after this time I'm actually thinking in going back to my old Buffet Barrel. It's not that they're bad because they're not but FOR ME the sound that it gives lack of some harmonics...it's a little bit dull. Also it's very free blowing for my taste specially the Fatboy. I love the fact that I'm more easily in tune though, specially in America.In this video I do prefer the traditional Buffet R-13 setup because I hear more "body" to the sound. But, what do you think? :)
@pivotcup25808 жыл бұрын
Very good observations. I usually use the Backun barrel and bell on my A. It doesn't work as well on my Bflat. I needed a new barrel after playing 5+ hours a day in school. It is a nice replacement for the money.
@bcleuton15 жыл бұрын
At the end, everything is taste question. But it is audible that backun material is soft, easily, and more confortable sound.
@klarinetta4 жыл бұрын
Just what I was thinking. Dull and thick sound with little ring to it.
