we have exactly the same opinions about barrel jeans!! i’m really not very online in “trendy” fashion spaces ((i only follow people who primarily shop second hand)) but the instant i saw a pair of barrel jeans, i knew they would be a life-long piece for me the short i first saw them in was actually a girl talking about how ugly she finds them, so i’m 1000% confident i wasn’t influenced 😂 - i waited and ended up getting a pair for a reallllly good price on depop about two weeks after i decided they’d be a staple for me. sewing an extra button to be able to wear them high waisted is SO smart - i personally just belt mine for the time being, but i’m tucking that diy away for later 👀 mine are a dark wash with subtle pink running through them & i love them so so much 💕 easily my favourite jeans i’ve ever owned
