Benefit of the doubt? what's that got to do with anything the bail is removed when his foot is out, it's as clear cut as England owning having the ashes at the moment.

My first look at the slo-mo, I assumed not-out because it wasn't obvious whether his toe was touching the popping crease or not. Then I looked up the laws, and they state that the batsman must be behind the crease to be safe. Therefore, on the line is out. To qualify, I played university cricket (so I should have known better), and I'm English (but generally a fair player). Agar's out.

This is so obviously out and yet I've heard Australians complaining that they were robbed of the test match! This poor decision alone gifted Australia 149 runs but they're complaining because Broad got an extra 20 odd (and that's not even counting Trott being given out LBW first ball when he edged it).
