anyone have tips on what to do with a 2 year old who will not sit still or behave, while camping? we haven’t been yet.. because he’s such a handful. he doesn’t listen to “no” or “stop” either for the most part 🙃 I suggested a cage to my partner but apparently that’s frowned upon 😅

It's so funny to me to hear a mother of four kids say she has a large family. I have six kids and only had a medium size family. I came from a family of 15 kids. Now, that was large. 😂

Not cool to drag on your husband. He probably works his ass off to support everyone.

It sounds like your husband needs to be more helpful when it comes to getting them out the door- I remember this was always a difficult thing for my mom, too. Get his help and express loads of gratitude for it- this will make him feel like you need him, which men secretly really crave. It'll be great for your marriage and for you!

@@charmainebalagasay937 things have progressed and gone well thankfully! I was so relieved to see a healthy moving baby at my first ultrasound. Since then I had another ultrasound at 20, the anatomy scan. We had to go back a few times to complete that as baby was extremely uncooperative lol.. all curled up and facing down. Since then I’ve felt kicks and a lot of movement. My placenta is anterior though so I also have days when I don’t feel much at all. Entered the third trimester today though and that’s feeling good. Not too long now until baby is here! How have you been doing??

Your baby is probably older than mine by now but I would go crazy trying to camp with a toddler. A baby that's not "new" or teething? Absolutely. They can't get into much. My son did his best to kill himself in our home with baby proofing. He's alive and well today but that's inspite of his best efforts to climb and open and poke everything. He's fun now though! He's 6.5 and a blast. He gets a big kick out of "helping."

I LOVE this method! I DO have to dedicate roughlyv1 hrs per day for levels 2 and 3 because I have 3 bathrooms and I pair each one up with another area for the day, and I only spend 15 minutes per bathroom doing whatever level I'm working on that day (in addition to the level 1's). And I do my vacuuming on my Level 3 day so as not to freak out my fur kids longer than nec essay lol. But I still use a timer. I also dedicate weeks 4 and 8 as House reset weeks, to just spend the week either catching up in each area, hit the biggest impact jobs, or even giving myself a breakl if needed. Also, I assign each area on different days than Gemma does. But all of that is to adapt the system to my house's layout and my personal needs for the house. But I can't say enough about TOMM! I also love love love The Clutter Bug for figuring out your own natural organizing style! She really helped me figure out why organizing and keeping it that way has been impossible for me for 51 years. And I'm now slowly but steadily de-cluttering, organizing and cleaning my way out of chaos.

Great camping tips! I precook some meals and freeze them, pressed flat, in ziplock bags. They help keep the rest of the food cold and save me the stress of cooking all the time while away. I also have a small cheap plastic shower caddy with suction cups that fits all the shower things in, no more fishing around on the floor for the soap!

I had a leftover first response pregnancy test from last month. We had a little scare last month. And The entire morning I was every busy mom of three, anyway I frlt lightheaded twice last week. I checked my cycle app and im two weeks late! I took the test just to make sure. I am probably exactly one month along…. Expecting my fourth child.. I still cannot believe it. Just sent my husband the picture of the test, hes working and cannot have a cellphone on the site he leaves it in the car. I am sure he has not seen it but omg I cannot believe it.

With you on camp fires and a clean toilet/shower block but would prefer a smaller campsite with few pitches, spaced far apart even if it meant no electric hookup. We have a 60w solar panel for charging gadgets but can manage with ice blocks in the cool box. Would rather a campsite without being next to loads of other campers and being subjected to their questionable taste in music, cigarette smoke and bad language into the early hours. Would rather go to a quiet campsite maybe joined with family and friends and their kids too rather than leaving my kids to play with some of the feral kids and parents we've been unable to escape from during our stay in the past. Not sure what it is but our kids always seen to attract the naughty kids who seem to latch on to our kids. Likewise we are not interested in making friends ourselves either and would rather be left in peace, or just with the people we went with. Not sure slow cookers and air fryers etc is proper camping, half the fun is improvisation when cooking. Not fussed about having a shop on site as that restricts the type of campsite you get and you then miss out on some real gems that just have the basics for a fraction of the price of the big sites.

I know this video was a while ago but my favourite go-to is (and I am in Canada do I don't know what stores are different in the UK) the little stationary boxes from the Dollartree with all the compartments. I put my kids' names on them and fill with snacks like goldshish crackers, mini oreos, m&ms, Cheerios, Mini marshmellos etc. Then they are each in charge of their own snacks. It works for any kind of trip. I have used it on the airplane and on road trips.

*We have 3 under 3 (or oldest just turned 3, but I feel like my husband is harder to handle then all our 3 kids all in all🤣 At first we did NOT want one more now we are going back and forth, but I would not do it plannned. But if it HAPPEND I would ofc keep the baby for sure. BUT omg my oldest is so so stubburn right now, so it is a bit of a "hard time". She is 100% the hardest one of them all right now. My girls are so uniqe and our little boy. Our oldes have TONS of energi, but also she gets really angry if it is not how she want it to be😬 But she can also be sooo cuddely and kind. Our younger daughter is alot more calm and paitient and our son is only 3,5months old but he is really calm so far and a EASY baby for sure🥰 I am just happy they sleep well at night for the moust part. Again our oldest has some sleeping problems right now and I hope it is just a little fase she is going trough, and from 1-2years old she sufferd from night terrors ot was the WORST. and it made me have nightmares every night, youngest daughter have no problems, but she shares room with her sister, and when she screems at night and cry and get upset she wakes up.. And I am so scares she will get scared by her sister.. :( Yesterday we needed to take out youngest daughter out of the bedroom so she got to sleep with her father while I was in the bedroom with our oldest for 60minutes, trying to help her.. I HATE that part. I really do, I love her soso much but that is the one thing that is hard for me. She get so mad, and sad I don't even know. And I don't understand what it is. :( She is potty traning aswell so it might have something too do with that. Not sure, I just HOPE it get's better. My kids do love to go out tho, the love to be outside, play, having some fun, but travveling is a BIG no so far. 🤣. I LOVE MY/OUR KIDS AND I WOULD NEVER CHANGE IT FOR THE WORLD THEY SAVED ME & my life tbh! -Katarina 28, Norway*

Loved all your tips! We used them outdoor solar pathway lights with the stakes on the bottom to mark our tent and to put it around our tent so we could see at night. Also I packed our clothing in one of those storage bins so we could leave it right outside of our tent (in order to have more room inside of our tent) and that way in case it rained it would still be protected and not get wet inside. Plus it doubled as a chair if we wanted to just sit down lol 😂 I guess you could also put it inside of your tent (prbly safer that way) so you don’t have to worry about someone stealing it lol 🤣

Thank you for this video. I've been feeling very pregnant ever since I found out we were expecting at 4 weeks (I found out really early). But now I'm in my 9th week and my symptoms have completely subsided. Freaks me out a little, but I keep reading that it's normal for them to come and go. My 10 an a half week scan is next Tuesday so I'm just praying everything is okay. I will update if they come back! Very appreciative for videos like this because they make me feel like I'm not alone.

@@lhenpothappylife7872 Yes!! Baby is healthy! My 10.5 week genetic screening and ultrasound went great! We also found out that we're having a girl :) She was bouncing around in there - heartbeat is healthy. All was good :) Now I'm 13.5 weeks and I will say, symptoms are back and pretty consistent, but nausea is completely gone, thank god. Just feeling ultra pregnant - I'm showing a little bit. Still very anxious for my 14 week scan - I don't think the anxiety will ever go away and I'm just grateful for these regular scans. Even if it's just checking on the heartbeat. That's enough to ease my mind!
