These videos are on mate, never tried jigging lake Taupo, but would be keen as to give it a go in the future. We normally fish the hydro lakes closer to home, by this seems epic. Great video

Lake Taupo is a great trout fishing lake. Hips of wild trout. Deep and cold and mild wind. I fished Lake Benmore alot cause I am from Chch and just moved to North lately. Give us a heads up if you want to fish Taupo in future.

Trout are such a beautiful and vibrant colored fish I love fly fishing for them on a dry fly like I have done in some of my videos and there’s not many species as beautiful as a trout!

Loved your video mate , brought back some great memories of Kaikoura . I court a very nice salmon in that exact spot that you are flying the drone from in February last year .

Kaikoura is a magical place I believe. You have everything together in one spot. Mountains, rivers, lakes and ocean and marine life. Amazing me every time I go there.
