have learned that when the animal licks out his tongue like that it means that the pressure feels good to them. Learned from other animal chiropractors. 🙂

Your horse is playing around and enjoying being out in his pen, why are you telling them to stop having fun?

They have to separate the weaned calves and cows. The cows can't continue to feed them while pregnant.

This video is too short: What was shown is a refused jump which could happen to every rider. But what was more interesting was your reaction. You did not punish him, which I think was good - but how did you go on? Remounting? Jumping the same jump? Or trying first a different one? And what was his reaction?
@heinzstoffregen53482 жыл бұрын
That is a problem, when you ride a horse used to jump over 3` - and you now want him to do a lttle jump. He is not sure, whether you really want him to jump or would be satisfied with bypassing. So he tries. But when you insistend for a thord time, he got it and of course overjumped very high. i think, he wnated to tell you that he was prepared to do higher jumps and expected you to ask him for that.

Hi Sophia, this looks good how well you ride him - and he seems to be a very easy ride for you on a calm and controlled horse. Well done. But I still remember watching you, when he reared so nicely and when you handled him perfectly. does he still rear with you in the saddle? And how do you feel riding a rearing horse?
@heinzstoffregen53485 жыл бұрын
Wow, an excellent rider on a nervous horse. There are two occasions asking for the rider´s action: when he starts rearing at 0:06 you stop him from goimng up to the vertical, which might have become dangerous. And after 0:25, when he started to be unwilling, refusing your aids. You very effectively called him to order turning him round and telling him that you are the boss and wanted him to take your decisions. You deserve the like thumb up. Does he often become a little wild testing your reactions? And what race is he and gender? In his behaviour he might well be a strong stallion.

Hallo Sophia, welcome to youtube! Right from the beginning of this video, one can see that you certainly are an eyecatching horse girl looking really great on a beautiful horse: Excellent seat, calm and soft hands, extemely low heels and lower legs exactly where they should be, using an English dressage saddle, which allows to notice your elegant long legs. Already that is a pleasure to observe. And that becomes even more when watching you ride - you certainly have a lot of riding experience to handle your horse so well. Every judge in a dressage competition would give you full marks for your performance. How did you learn to ride so well? By the way: You seem to be the only rider in that group who uses an English saddle instead of Western, takes a crop but does not use spurs. How come? As to your horse: All the other horses seem to be extremely calm, need to be pushed to move, whereas your horse is excited, lively asks for a good rider. So you are very busy holding your horse back, keeping him under control, even when he starts rearing. (By the way, I habe looked it up several times: you are the perfect rider to that rearing horse, calm and determined, never in danger to lose balance or slip off. Did you enjoy him rearing? Do you have experience in riding difficult challenging horses?) I shall subscribe to your channel hoping for more interesting riding videos. And please give some information on your person and your horse. If you want to do that more private, I should be glad to receive your answer via email under [email protected] and I should like to exchange some more ideas about riding and your presentation.
