Russians still have a right to self defense. In Chicago, the perp would be out the next day and the others would have gotten 20 years for assault.

Carradine barely had any knowledge of martial arts in his performance in the Kung Fu series, a character that was going to be played by the great Bruce Lee, but Carradine was awarded because Lee had "too Asian" 😡features, so it's all a game of cameras and nothing further. 👎

David Carradine was my close friend's best friend in high school (Oakland, CA). They both got expelled for staging a sword fight in the school hallway. True story!

worst fight scenes ever. even as a kid i could see Carradine had no skill, and the camera tricks couldn't hide that. and Carradine trying to look chinese was pitiful...

Too bad the executives decided not to cast Bruce Lee as Caine. I wonder if they made a reboot of it, would they cast an Eurasian actor like Henry Golding. Also, would some people call it "woke race swapping." 😂

Bruce Lee must've squirmed watching the fight scenes in this series. Although I was a very big fan of this ' Kung Fu ' series as a kid, in the 1970s. 😁

Carradine played this well. The format was unique and hugely popular at the time. The sequel was an abomination. Sadly, Carradine buried himself in the part and drifted downhill.

Kung Fu was originally meant to be a vehic;le starring Bruce Lee, When Caridine was first approoched about starring in the seri, he had never even heard the words "kung fu" before. Another time that racism raises it's ugly head once more.

Bruce lee would have be to aggressive for the show he would kick all the bad guys arses in first 10 mins of the episode instead we got 5 minutes of action after 55 minutes of slow build up.

We all know that should have been Bruce Lees role. I liked Carradine in this role, and I admit that he was probably the better actor. But imagine if Bruce Lee played that part. The Kung Fu would have been out of this world.

CAINE: [sees some well-dressed dude throw some VERY clumsy kicks] "You are very skillful fighter...in a style I have never seen before. Did you learn it from a priest in a temple...or, a teacher in a school?" CAPOERA GUY: "I learned it from watching a baby cow flailing its legs while trying to get back up after it fell down. It's called 'cow-poera.'"
