Has anyone tried a foundation double crochet chain, slip stitching in the bottom of the first stitch and flipping from there?or would that mess witht the actual size? I thought i heard that FDC makes a tighter chain than usual.

I love this pattern - but I didn’t like the chain area of the pattern. So I’ve tried this pattern using the chain less stitch and it works great.

So the order of the houses change according to the sun sign? Let me elaborate on my question… so the last chart has Sun rising sign Pisces. Pisces is the first house on this chart and they have Aries in their 2nd house?

Hi there! So the Rising sign aka the Ascendant determines the layout of the houses and then the Sun (and other planets) can be in any of the 12 houses, including the 1st. So say the charts Rising sign is Leo but they are a Sun Scorpio, their Sun would most likely be in the 4th house. I will make a short video explaining this better and link it here once it’s up!

If you’re a Rising Cancer then Aries will be your 10th house 😊 It helps me to picture the houses from Aries to Pisces then you can turn the wheel clockwise, placing a new sign in the first house. So if you begin with Aries, then turn the wheel clockwise once, it’ll place Taurus in the Rising/Ascendant and Aries will now be in the 12th house.

I have a question. First I want to say your tutorials are clear, but somehow I am making a mistake as I do the pattern. When I come around to the end of a row my rows are coming out crooked. It looks like a seem that goes in a diagonal. Also, do you have to use a multiplier meaning an even or odd count on stitches to start with?

You can use whatever yarn you’d like! This one is a weight 6 and I used a size US-N 10mm hook 🧶 😊
