You obviously didn't measure from the top down to get a good clean Ridgeline. That last piece of cap is a joke. And I can tell that none of your seams are pressure fit and you probably don't even know what I mean by that.

Here in the US, "oscillating tool" is the common name. Of course, each manufacturer may have their own name. Should be able to get one at any home improvement store, looks like they even have them at Walmart here. Lots of choices in blades for different uses too!

I used APOC silver guard-F #208 on a 12x12 shed I built I went straight over the OSB boards and never had any issues and I live in Oregon where it rains 8 months out of the year and hot summers and cold winters. It was only going to be temporary 3 years ago while I waited for the shingles but no issues and I’ve never bought the shingles lol

how's it hold up after 10 years? I bought it to try but didn't seem like the screws went in very deep or caught much of the deck board. Seems like with the small head they would pull through after a few years of walking on it.

@@nikki-xc9kh yeah I’d like to see a deck after a few years before I’d want to use them. The screws are just like trim screws that say not to use to fasten deck boards. I guess being at an angle may help but I don’t see them lasting.

My 5/4 red cedar deck boards haven't budged in ten years of extreme eastern Canadian weather using the Camo 1⅞ fasteners and Marksman Pro. Armchair engineer all you want, this system works.
@preston88596 күн бұрын
@@SameGuy42 good to know. I was actually just curious, not saying it doesn’t work. I would assume it works better too with cedar vs pressure treated that warps and bows terribly sometimes. I also was using it on treated 2x6s when I tried it out so not much of the screw was catching the joists.

I have tile I need to remove around my sink in the bathroom. It's old , around 1955 I am guessing. I need to remove them before getting a new sink. What tool is this because I need one. I doubt my dad(rip) had one of these. Yet I'm pretty sure he would just chisel away instead of using this. I'm afraid to mess up and I am thinking this may help me not to mess up.

Not quite as easy if you've stuck them on proper that multi tool only works if theres hardly any cement behind tile otherwise its hammer an chisel and the tiles will not come off in one piece, I've just removed 600 plus in our bathroom and only 2 didnt break bought a multi tool wouldn't touch them because they were put on proper.
