Have it. Love it. Mine is hooked to the smart panel and charges off the solar panels that are already on our roof. It has what’s called self consumption mode. So when the sun comes up, whatever we aren’t using in the house diverts itself to the f3800 until it’s charged. Which for us, it’s fully charged by 9:30am every day. We have 3 ac’s. Usually we only have one running. So solar handles it. But if I run multiple ac’s. Or power hungry devices. Let’s say that needs 5kwhs and my solar is only making 4kwh. Then that 1kwh that’s needed comes out of the f3800. Once we stop using less power. It charges itself again. If you’re using this as a home backup with a smart panel installed. None of the charging port stuff matters. You’ll never use them. It plugs into the smart hub and that’s it. We love the system and in 3 weeks it saved us $70. Which isn’t oh my goodness we’re rich money. But if it can save us $100 a month. I’m in. I already want to get the expansion batteries, as using nothing but the house essentials. Fridges. TVs. Lights. The battery will be dead by 9pm. So it runs the house from 6ish ok until 9:30pm. If we really cut back it gets us to 11pm. But the goal is to go from full power, and through the night. I should also add their customer service is amazing. I bought mine. 3 days later it was cheaper. They gave me the difference. Then a week later, another sale. They gave me that difference. Within 30 days they work with you. I also got a micro air soft start for my house. Which I love. And highly recommend as that company is amazing. I wouldn’t say it’s a necessity as the ac isn’t plugged directly into this. So it’s not went over it’s 6,000. Our grid takes the hard hit then diverts from this Lastly. Every night we are watching tv when the power goes from f3800 back to grid. Never noticed. It’s nice.

Every Review of Any Solar Generator, should include a test, to determine, if once the battery is completely drained, subsequently after there is sufficient battery charge from solar, will the generator energize the AC outlets automatically on it’s own? In a completely OFF GRID scenario, and No Internet, if you are using the Solar Generator, for example in a cabin, if the battery is drained, you need it to re-energize the AC outlets as soon as it has sufficient charge from Solar. Otherwise, none of the Solar Generators are worth owning, because the owner would be required to be there every day, just in case the battery was drained, in order to turn the AC outlets back on! Which makes it useless! If you have a refrigerator or other important item that needs power, you can not be there every day, it MUST TURN the AC OUTLETS, ON AUTOMATICALLY!! WHY IS THIS NOT A STANDARD TEST COMPONENT IN EVERY REVIEW OF EVERY SOLAR GENERATOR???

I need to connect a smart home panel, however all of the videos and diagrams have the current transformers on one of two wires. All showing a 200amp circuit. My house has 4 wires as the 200 amps are spread across the multiple 100amp circuits. No matter what I attach the L1 current transformer to, the system tells me it’s not connected. Any idea how to fix this or what it should be connected to?

Very nice. The crackling, watching flames, and heat production of a wood stove can't be beat. I would like to add one to the greenhouse. I see great suggestions of proper drying and types of wood to reduce ash. Another suggestion is to check for proper sealing of doors and windows, circulation with ceiling fans on low to distribute and force heat draft down with blades in reverse, then adding heavier curtains during winter, and controlling humidity. Can heat up an iron cast kettle with water, refilling throughout the day. Fires really dry out the air and humidity helps to maintain a steady temperature. Also, instead of starting and/or abruptly ending an overly roaring initial fire, can build a decent starter one, then use small splits of wood "kindlings" to add through the day, adjusting the damper, just to temper the fire as a slow, long burn. Can scoop any accumulated ash at the end of a fire when comes the time to remove, after the fire is out, embers have burned, yet stove itself is still ever slightly warm, when possible, because then the straggling small ash particles get up-drafted, taking advantage as the remaining heat is rising. Plus you can use the ash as supplement to the garden, adding nutrients, and changing pH for designated plants and trees when needed. And if you invest in a wood chipper, you can mulch wood to place around plants and trees for overwintering as insulation for them. To save on purchasing local cords of wood, can get a permit to go into the forest to cut your own, which is fun.

Your 12 volt coil should have 1.3-1.5 Ohms if you are using it on a 6 volt system If you’re 12 volt coil has 3.0 Ohms then you would need an external resistor

If in fact there are 2 separate inverters a 120 ans a 240 split phase then allowing both to be on at the same time would effect the 4000 watt output. Most like otger problems arose gaving both on too, so they just turn off the other when the button us pressed.

I wish they would've added another 1600 watt mppt.

The DP3 is only compatible with the Delta Pro extra battery -- not the other unit nor the Smart Home Panel v1 which is a shame. They have seemed to abandoned the loyal fan base of Delta Pro originally. Also the DP3 is still limiting to 150V (1800 watts) just like the DP --- why is that when the all in one units can get 450-600volts? I think they missed the mark.

When using the breaker box setup for each unit what size was required main breaker and individual breaker for each unit. Also if not 200 amp seems like it would limit the pass thru ability. Installing 2 18 k next week and lile the setup. Seems lile that allows each unit to be worked on or simply removed for service with disrupting the rest of the system. Thanks any ideas are welcome

One thing about Mango that sold me on it is it has 6000 cycles. The other batteries I looked at were 3000 cycles. That is double the life span for Mango.

use a 12 volt circulation pump inline. I think they are about 10 dollars for cpvc transfer but you need one that can withstand at least 300-400 degrees due to the stove being too hot melting the plastic. But, if you put a 150 degree blow off valve then that is all you need but i still would circulate it with a pump.

Why do you need 3 18kpvs? As I'm not mistaken each 18kpv can handle 3 batteries and up to 18kW usable power.

Good video. Cluttered installation tho. Detail to design and layout is also important. Having ANYTHING on the floor or in front of the breaker panel is dangerous and not code compliant. Just because something works does not make it correct.

In the UK, it's very expensive if you have to buy wood. If you own a wood (as I do) then it's cheap (other than buying the land..). Then it's just a lot of work, but it's cheaper than joining a gym!

Be aware that the winch you have on there looks to be about 8000lbs. These will pull 285A at full load. Your 100AH battery also has a corresponding 100A BMS. It will shut off the battery if you exceed that 100A current limit. I'd reconsider. You'll be stuck someplace needing that winch for a big load and it won't work. At least test it out first with a big load. I use a 100AH LiFePO4 battery on my 2500lb winch but wouldn't go much bigger.
