I have absolutely considered getting a used Kira and making her into my Julie... I just think she's an improved version of Julie tbh.

It was such a missed opportunity to give Courtney a boy best friend (better yet, a boy best friend who has his own books, kinda like what they did with Marie-Grace and Cecile).

I also ADORE Mia - For one, I spent 11 months of 2008 doing chores and small jobs outside the home as a 5th grader saving up to get her - that's a long time to covet and obsess over a doll! But also, at the time, her look WAS unique among the dolls that were offered in the truly me line, so her having layered red hair was pretty exciting. And her defying family expectations by choosing figure skating over hockey and having to work a part time job to afford to pursue it were relatable to me as a kid due to certain life circumstances.

Sorry, but she is in the Australian outback. Not in a Brasilian rainforest. And the stories are for 8-10 year olds.

I agree, girls and teens are a lot more diverse and unique than what ag portrays. I'm sick of the "basic white girl" and was shocked when I learned that their were no Native American dolls. Also, your videos are hilarious and I love them. Welcome back!
