Im NOT saying all firearms have to look alike..however, they should look attractive enough to make me want to purchase it. And almost all Hi Point firearms is HIDEOUS!! WHEN will HP understand that people want to carry a firearm that looks good too? Redesign your firearms, that is if youre concerned at all about making MUCH MORE sales. I've always noticed that most companies DONT CARE aboutt the viewpoint of their customers..but my God, make it look attractive at least!!! Increase the price if you have to..becuse people DONT mind paying money for something that LOOKS GOOD.

Hp was my first hg, they are so ugly, but it always went bang. I would never buy another one but if you’re on a budget, get one

Now my question is what upgrades would make this gun worth $1500 excluding attachments. A better trigger? Maybe a muzzle break for a suppressor, what else could you add to make this worth $1500? My little brother just bought his for $1500 and I’m just curious how a $500 gun could be marked up so much without at least a decent light and optic on it?

I mostly shoot USPSA with a Shadow 2 but have recently started running a lightly modified P10 F in IDPA (I like the extra capacity in a flush fitting magazine). I passed on the “Competition” model for a couple reasons: (1) Trigger with a distinct wall vs. a rolling break isn’t what most serious competitors are looking for so an upgrade would be required anyway (+$$). (2) The factory grip texture on the front and back strap is good but seriously lacking on the side panels so a stippling job or silicone carbide are needed (+$$). (3) The balance of the gun is front heavy so a brass blackstrap (Taylor Freelance) is needed as well as brass magazine baseplates to get the gun to settle out of recoil correctly (+$$). (4) The factory recoil spring and captured guide rod are tuned for standard pressure and even major power factor ammunition. For minor power factor (what most serious competitors are running) recoil spring tuning will be required (+$$).
