Thank you so much for this fantastic review! You saved me from buying this and being disappointed later. I agree when I purchase a case for my devices, I like it to be protected at all times. To me it is unacceptable to have no case protection when we have to remove it from the magnetic case to use the iPad vertically while reading a book etc. I wouldn’t have figured this out until after I got it and it was too late and a hassle for a return. I am laughing. You were nit picking. Let me compare... Your iPad had nasty smudges on it & even a hair or fiber of some kind. They make wipes for that. You want the item to be perfect, you should start by making things in your video look better.

I just bought the flexxbook (no touch pad) by typecase, actually thought i was buying the touch pad one but I love this one!! I use it to watch KZfaq and it's a great stand. Sturdy too. I actually bought the edge too, carbon fiber look and it's awesome!

So i got some of the 2nd generation today from this dude in the hood selling random stuff today😂 brand new never opened box. My regular airpods which i think are first gen has a green light for battery life indicator and what not but the ones i got today have a blue light instead of green🤔 kinda like in the video but im not 100% sure if theyre real or not. How would i tell?

I am unable to find out how to tap to open apps using the trackpad. If I tap the app icon nothing happens unless I click like the mouse button. How to do it ?

The "Magic Keyboard doesn't permit docking your iPad in Portrait orientation." I really wish the review focused on comparisons between this keyboard and the magic keyboard. Like I don't even know if the magic keyboard has a power button. Like the magic keyboard doesn't need to be charged. Really trying to see if there's a market for Magic keyboard alternatives with feature parity.

I’m going buy this exact model now in may 2024, I have seen so many reviews and I have decided to get this one instead of the latest M3 Pro model, how has it performed so far ?

I would rather buy this than the official Apple Magic Keyboard Folio to be honest. This ironically looks way more premium and significantly cheaper than the official one. I don’t mind at all. This video made me actually want to buy one. I’m just being honest.

I bought one because the screen on my iPad Air 3 is very laggy. In my experience, typing on this thing isn't great, lots of ghost key inputs. I echo what you say about it being between the screen keyboard & an actual keyboard. I also use a Magic Trackpad as this keyboard doesn't have one. If you have a trackpad, you could try a T9 on screen keyboard with it. It's better than using G-board swipe via trackpad, which isn't fast enough for some reason. Think I'll stick with MacBook Air overall, though the combo of iPad / cover / keyboard / trackpad is still smaller than that so it's good sometimes if travelling on trains etc where the airline seats don't give much room.

How do you keep the keyboard buttons light on? When I turn the case on the keyboard buttons light up, but then goes off. How do I fix this to keep the light on?

I have this keyboard since a while and I confirm the advertised battery life! I type quite a lot in my job and prefer this keyboard to the original surface as it takes less surface on my desk and enables ok switching time to a different device. Works perfectly for me with windows surface but I get lost on the shortcuts with my Ipad pro. Switching between both world requires a bit of thinking. Any advice how to manage the apple shortcuts on the keyboard? Is a specific configuration required?

Great video, new sub here. Did you know theres a little bit of a humming in your video? I only ask because I had the same problem with my blue yeti and was never able to fix it. Im wondering, do you use el capture card to stream or make videos? It's faint but you can hear it around the time you sit down at your pc and change the mics. It's before you use the "mute" button. If you figure it out, Id love to know what it was. Ive had the same problem and could never solve it. :c
