Great trip I have never made it to the Holly Tree Campsite..I was out there today in the pasture area it was mostly dry but it can be really wet during the rainy season!

That river gets crazy fast and strong in the rainy seasons when the river is high!

Loved the Smokys on my 2018 AT thru hike.

Hooked me with the Philip Glass soundtrack. Kayaked that when I was there in 2019. Went upstream a ways though not too far. Went down stream all the way to the interstate overpass.

Always love camping “in a tent” My dad didn’t believe in comfort ! lol 😂

I went to Egmomt key with high speed ferry yesterday . It took almost an hour . So, please don’t go with Kayak . It will take the whole day . Waves are bad in the middle of the ocean . Be safe .

We are planning our first river kayaking trip to start from Paynes Creek State Park to Crews Park in Wachula around September, after alligator mating, nesting, and hatching season. Look at that awesome net barrier! More effective than cardboard barriers and with an estimated 20 year plus lifetime, it's less expensive too! Sets up in under 5 minutes. Get one for your club! You can arrange for them to crisscross to isolate courts for one, two or three tables, cutting down on play interruptions.

Does it have a shower or toilet? Also, I went boating on Norris lake like 20 years ago. I seem to recall them having a Hooters restaurant in the lake that you could only reach by boat. Do they still have that?
