This is a crazy full circle moment cause I remember the chokehold this video had on me like a decade ago and i totally forgot about it until i heard this song in an IG reel. I believe the original lyrics in the one line of the song are; "My heart would never stray one dream away." I know it doesn't make much sense, at first glance, but it means, I would never even dream of loving anyone else but you. I thought they were singing, "My heart would never stray when you're away", myself, and at least one set of lyrics on youtube does say that, but listen close to Ira and Charlie, and Emmie Lou Harris and you will hear it. The, "when you're away" was in my earworm, when I first got it and it is difficult to change it, but I just about have it in my head now. I could be wrong as far as the original author's words, but I know those are the words Emmie Lou was singing. I am 10 years late, I see, but there you go.
