I believe it will be half Southern islands/half LatAm - I don't want to be TOO optimistic, but the environment in the trailer seems very Australia-Polynesia inspired - so there's a chance we will get more melanin later on

You need to do Clorinde's story quest, furina has changed so much in it, It's adorable and the quest is actually focused on playable characters rather than npc's its been rated the best story quest in genshin.

NPC involved doesnt automatically mean the quest doesnt focus on the character, Furinas, Neuvilettes and Cloud Retainers also had important npcs, but the quests were still about the characters themselves, how they interact with others and how they develop
