I fear "the center for liquefied natural gas" is trying very hard to sell me on natural gas. I did some research and what I found is that natural gas is mostly methane which is a greenhouse gas that is WAY more potent that CO2. it is not one of the cleanest sources and is said to be roughly on par with coal in terms of total green house gas emissions. Not to mention when this stuff leaks it really proves detrimental to the health of any one living nearby. In addition to doing your own research I suggest you read this: www.livescience.com/52715-natural-gas-not-as-clean-as-people-think.html

I hope this video is shown, comprehended and analysed by, from start to finish, not edited, cut, forged, misrepresented, destroyed by 99% only to forge the remaining out of context on beneficiary bribery 1%, and worked on by many conflicting comparison teams with specialised knowledge of all constituent contents in terrifyingly explicit detail...Otherwise we have another coldcut case of coculprit travesty of...you know the directional bribed forgery F word???

The Puyallup Tribe in Tacoma Washington opposes the L N G plant being constructed there and I support their concerns about the terrible destruction of mother earth from fracking gas. Millions of gallons of toxic chemicals are pumped into the ground to extract natural gas, and the plants have blown up. Siting one in a city on a river is sheer madness. Senator Cantwell should be replaced for championing this plant and opposing Native Treaty rights.

Methane is a short-lived greenhouse gas which does not acidify the ocean.

Just stop gas venting during the extraction and it will be cleaner.

Natural gas is used to make plastics. All sorts of plastics. Maybe anyone who doesn't like natural gas should show some spine and hand in their mobile phone. And most of their kitchen. And their car. Their hearing aid. Their eye glasses. Any many many other things in their lives...........

It consumes huge amounts of water to cool the NG and to frack the NG from the ground. Ground water is contaminated and fugitive gas does escape into the atmosphere. It's not clean energy when you include the whole process.

If you get it the natural way (manure) then it is perfectly clean

Natural gas requires far more energy and, therefore, the exploitation of far more fossil fuels to process and transport than crude oil or coal as it needs to be compressed and contained from its natural state, gas, to liquid under enormous pressures. Also, does anyone remember hearing that cows contribute to a very high percentage of global warming? It is due to their large amounts of methane production, LNG IS methane so if it changes state to gas after a spill it is still polluting the atmosphere. Oh and btw, MegaChuckD, sorry mate but you're an idiot...

Chris Breese This about LNG (Liquified Natural Gas) It's NOT CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) They're two different animals. LNG gets cooled (supercooled actually) NOT compressed.

yeap but LNG is the cheapest and cleanest fossil fuel, and I think LNG is the way to better world.

Marce Johnston .you say let the natural gas to burne is better than make it to LNG ?.the energy used to produce LNG more then the energy get from LNG?
@closedcourse9 жыл бұрын
Ali Zaenal Abidin it is a lesser of evils, yes it BURNS cleaner, but the process of extracting it and liquifying it is dirtier than extracting and converting other types of fossil fuels. This video is misleading then they say the LNG is environmentally friendly because it would vaporize. He is correct saying there is no slick. But LNG mostly methane (CH4), which in its gaseous form is much worse for the environment than CO2 for accelerating global warming.
@alizaenalabidin38069 жыл бұрын
Nick Leboe who said that liquifying it is dirtier? And what are the parameters? I'm curious bout that. I said cleanest fossil fuel because there are no impurities such Sulfur and Mercury inside LNG because of we have to purify it from Impurities especially for sulfur because it can will disturb liquefy process and it will produced SOx that makes acid rain.
