As someone who owns 12 seperate species of Polypterus. Arguably there are 17 species of Polypteridae fish (Bichir) with only one species not falling into the Polypterus family. That would be Erpetoichthys Calabaricus (Ropefish). The other species are all Polypterus. 1. P.Senegalus 2. P.Delhezi 3. P.Palmas 4. P.Polli 5. P.Buettikoferi 6. P.Mokelembembe 7. P.Meridonalis 8. P.Weeksii 9. P.Teugelsi 10. P.Ornatapinnis 11. P.Retropinnis 12. P.Bichir 13. P.Lapradei 14. P.Endlicheri 15. P.Ansorgii 16. P.Congicus 17. E.Calabaricus Any color or fin mutations fall under a morph to their respected species not their own "type" of bichir like suggested by #1 being an albino senegalus and #6 being a standard senegalus. As well as some of the photos like #8 and #5 for example being misslabed. In #8 for example, those are not the P.Bichir but photos of multiple species like P.Teugelsi, P.Weeksii, P.Mokelembembe, and P.Congicus. #5 is a photo of P.Polli as well, not P.Palmas.

Let's see what these are... 1) Nemacheilus masyae 2) Botany dario 3) Ambastaia nigrolineata 4) Yasuhikotakia modesta 5) Botia kubotai - Burmese border loach, aka the polka dot loach. 6) Yasuhikotakia sidthimunki - the pygmy chain loach. 7) This is not the Chinese hillstream loach (Beaufortia kweichowensis). 8) Clown loach (not crown) loach - Chromobotia macracanthus. 9) European weather loach - Misgurnus fossilised. 10) Vaillantella maassi. 11) Sewellia lineolata. Aka Tiger hillstream loach, Borneo hillstream loach. 12) Not the Golden Zebra loach. The picture is of Botia histrionica, the silver striped loach. 13) Syncrossus hymenophysus. 14) Acantopsis dialuzona. Previously known by an older synonym, A. choirorhynchus, but this may change pending another revision. 15) Micronemacheilus cruciatus. Previously in the genus Yunnanilus. 16) Pangio kuhlii. 17) Not Nemacheilus paucimaculatus. The picture is of N. anguilla, the specific epithet refers to its tenuous resemblance to the European eel. N. paucimaculatus has only recently been described and is either rare or absent from the hobby. 18) Yaoshania pachychilus. 19) Petruichthys sp. 'Rosy'. 20) Homaloptera orthogoniata. 21) Schistura spilota, 22) Yasuhikotakia morleti. 23) Cobitis taenia. 24) Yasuhikotakia splendida. 25) Barbatula barbatula. 26) Gyrinocheilus aymonieri, Chinese sucking loach. 27) Not a species. Colour variety of 26. 28) Schistura cf. balteata. One of the 'sumo' loaches. 29) Botia almorhae. AKa Pakistani loach. 30) Botia striata. Aka the candy stripe loach.

lol its a clown loach not a crown loach ,Horse faced loach not harse faced and its only 29 as a golden variety does not count as a separate species
