I remember hearing the song by Led Zepp " In My Time of Dyin " during my drug years and made me think about death and Jesus. Fun fact: the bass player with his back to the camera was Jim Messina, of Loggins and...fame. Bruce Palmer had been deported in January on drug charges, and Messina was the band's sound engineer. Since he was not technically a member of the band and because Palmer was expected to return at some point, they chose not to show Jim's face on camera.

Interesting that the bass player's back is to the camera and his face is never shown. I suspect this was recorded after Bruce Palmer was deported for drug possession and it's actually just a local session player.
