No unfortunately it doesn’t have one.. need to gas up fully and then reset the trip gauge.. one gas tank lasts for about 200-220km/125-135 miles. 👍🏼

Just purchased a Honda Rebel 500 about 3 months ago as my first bike after passing my full bike licence. It's a fantastic machine, a great all-rounder! If you want a Sunday bike and a commuter, it's perfection. I use mine weekly, even in poor weather. It's stable and comfortable and builds confidence so quickly. The only issue I've found is tiny rust spots on the inner exhaust despite the fact that my bike is stored in a shed under a cover. Bar, that it has zero complaints from me. I plan on purchasing the 1100 in a couple more years. Taken mine over snakes pass to visit my brother in Sheffield. WHAT A BLAST ! Even had the sport bikers heads turning when they saw it.
@Biker_Johnny86
@Biker_Johnny86 12 күн бұрын
Heck yeah! Congratulations to your licence and your Honda man! If you see my latest video, I also took my brothers Honda on a nice trip in middle Germany. 🇩🇪 me and two friends went to a Harley festival. How many miles was your trip to your brother? Have you already ridden the 1100? I’m really wondering if it’s worth almost double the price! It definitely is one of the coolest Bikes available currently. Well, and with the rust: Sometimes you can do whatever you want! The rust finds its way on the metal. 🤣🤷🏼‍♂️
@jamesnoonan7450
@jamesnoonan7450 12 күн бұрын
@Biker_Johnny86 I will have a look at your other video. The ride to my brothers is around 90 miles one way so 180 mile round trip. But here in the UK, you need to go over the peak district (very remote and windy country roads over large hills and samll peaks). "Snakes Pass," in particular, is a meccah for UK motorcyclists. Over 15 miles of winding rural roads on the approach to Sheffield and the rebel demolished it like it was nothing. With regards to the rebel 1100, I tested both before I went with the 500. It's got a lot more grunt and is deffinetly far heavier. You can't move it around easily for a new biker like myself that was a major drawback. Plus, being almost double the price of the 500, it was an easy choice. Given a couple of years of riding, I think the 1100 would be a perfect fit for me. The only drawback is the weight of it and the price.
@Biker_Johnny86
@Biker_Johnny86 12 күн бұрын
@jamesnoonan7450 yeah you have a weight of 223kg instead of 190 or so.. that really makes a big difference. And handling is everything as a beginner! This is why I think the CMX 500 is the perfect beginner bike. Now after three years of riding I can say I have no problem with heavy bikes.. rode the Harley Davidson heritage Softtail which is over 300 kg and it was not a problem. Take your time 👍🏼 and always ride safe 😎

It really depends on your helmet. In my shoei helmet it doesn’t. Of course if I push my helmet from the front I can touch it. But this is something that really depends on the persons chin and helmet model and so on. There’s small, tight helmets and there’s helmets with plenty of space in the front.

@@Biker_Johnny86 I’ve got a pretty similar setup but use a modular helmet. How have you stuck the magnets to the inside of your helmet for the DJI to stick to?
@Biker_Johnny86

@DrummerOnTwoWheels First I cut out that plastic surface inside the helmet. It’s a very thin layer which doesn’t stick very good to double sided tape. Once I reached the blank inside of the helmet material I just used double sided tape and put these little magnets in. To make sure they still won’t fall off after a while I secured them with duck tape on top 😂.. looks pretty trashy inside but who sees it? 🤷🏼‍♂️😄 Because I remember one time I took the mic out and ripped out these little magnets. Now they’re covered with duck tape. 👍🏼

How is the downshifting when slowing down from 5th to 4th? 4th to 3rd? Do you need to rev match or blip the gas before you shift down? I’m not talking about coming to a full stop, only for slowing down.
@Biker_Johnny86
@Biker_Johnny86 Ай бұрын
If you let the clutch connect gently without reving you have a good braking effect I’d say.. but it’s not like you really pull the brake. I like to do that when I’m getting close to a traffic light 🚦 or an intersection and then I let the bike kind of roll out until I really need the brakes to stop fully. If you ride a V-engine you mostly have a harsh braking when you shift down but since this is a twin engine it’s way more gentle. No need to rev match or whatever.

Oh iya kami mempunyai kendaraan cc rendah rata rata 100 cc sekitar 200 juta sampai 300 juta orang mempunyai sepeda motor sendiri pada wilayah Indonesia. Di cc 250 itu sudah bagus. Oh that’s easy.. you turn the mic and the camera on. Then you go to the settings of the camera and choose „wireless mic“ and tap on TX. On the camera display you can read then: Press and hold the record button on the mic until the light is solid blue, then press and hold the linking button until the light blinks blue quickly. Connected-> Confirm! That’s it. 👍🏼 From then on they both connect automatically soon as you turn them both on, but that takes a few seconds. 😌☝🏼
