So I'm guessing by plugging it in, it warms up the liquids and makes the aroma spread out across the room? I Thought it also had some kind of tiny fan in there helping out. I plugged it in to the socket......I can smell it, but barely, even on the highest setting; I wish it had some sort of tiny fan in there somewhere though.

Just got one for sale for $65 and I think I overpaid for this ThinkPad. Construction is junk compared to my previous W530. Damn case is held with clips. Keys and case feels like I'm touching rough concrete.......

I have used ThinkPads since the first prototypes around 1992... I got the T570 in 2019, five years old, works well enough. These ThinkPads are still similar to older ones I took apart - remove bunch of screws, and use plastic tool to remove clips. Good or bad, I don't think they have changed much in the last 10 years. The original OEM keyboard feels really nice. I replaced mine with a clone and it feels cheaper. I had two W series ThinkPads, maybe a W530, can't remember. I think the W line is more robust, higher quality build and more expensive. The T series is a step down, more for business user although I use it for video production and software development. The E series are lower. Enjoy.

I'm going to do this! I would suggest for your safety, though, that you not use a bungee cord. Half inch strap and buckle or even chute cord and trucker's hitch keeps your device connected with no chance of bungee cord hook damaging your eyes. Remember ophthalmologists make a great living off bungee cord injuries!

I'm currently trying to fix the exact same model. A little metal part fell off the crankshaft - you can see the part at 11:15, the little ridge that goes into the key slot. So instead of a key and a slot, I just have two slots. Not sure why that would come out, but it did, and I'm not getting much pressure at all. Anyway we found the little metal part that's supposed to be attached to the side of the crankshaft and I'm hoping it'll stay in there somehow. Thanks a lot for this video, it helped me see what I needed to see. Also just curious whether anyone else has had that happen.

Will it put a straight line on ceiling?
@DrBDIY
@DrBDIY 14 күн бұрын
When the Bosch is protected against a wall, it will draw horizontal and vertical lines (like a + sign). The horizontal line will be approximately at the same height as the unit. So if the unit is on a 5' tripod, the horizontal light will be the same. If the unit it tilted back or forward without raising the tripod, it will still attempt to draw the line at the 4' mark. If the unit it tilted more that 4 degrees, the lights will blink. The same goes for tilting the unit sideways. The unit will draw and x instead of a +. And it will blink every 3 seconds. So how to project on a ceiling? If you want the lights not to blink, you will need to position the unit (tall ladder with clamp tripod) closer to the ceiling +/- 4 degrees. Or, you can still project from the 5' tripod by tilting the unit way back and pointing it up to the ceiling for projection. For any projection past the 4 degree, what I do is get a level and make sure the red line is level for horizontal. Yes, in this case it is not self leveling. However, once you put the level on the wall and adjust the tripod where you want it, you will still have a nice line across a wide space. It would be nice if there was a button to push to stop the blinking.

My 1200w unit wouldn't heat past 203 degrees, when I turned it all the way up to 275 degress. The element ohmed out at 12.5, which was good. Connections were good to the element, but the ground was not installed by the manufacturer correctly, and was loose. I then cleaned the thermocouples with a Scotchpad, put everything back together,.and.now it's working perfectly. So, the problem was likely soot buildup on the thermocouples or a poor ground.

Two zones. Each can be programmed for start time and duration. They can't run together. You can set the "how often" setting in terms of days. So each zone can only operate one time per day. But they can run every day if necessary.

You know what! ..I came to find that on the last programming function which would be " how often" , if you turn the program knob right it will allow you to program it for "hours" and if you turn the program knob left it will allow you to program for "minutes" So if I can program it in hours ,being that 12 hours is the maximum, I can actually program it for twice a day now, once at 7:00 in the morning and one more time at 7:00 in the evening. So yes.. It is possible to program this XD sprinkler box for two times per day per station@@DrBDIY

Amazed at how many people are unaware of this procedure to connect a generator to your house. Even more shocking (pun not intended) is how many electricians are also unaware. Tip for y’all needing to do this. Don’t remove the jumper wire from the case, just unscrew it from the neutral post and secure it to the other end, the ground post that way it’s stored right there when you need to get it back to spec. Also, make or buy a bonding plug ( look it up if you don’t know what it is) when you want to use your now floating neutral unit as a standalone unit in the field. In fact make two, one for 120V regular outlets and one for the 30 amp outlet. You’ll thank me later.

When you have the distance set to max is only the end of its blast putting water on the ground or is it falling the entire distance? If that makes sense. Like are you only putting water down at the 50 ft mark of its path only or is it watering everything within that 50 ft?
@DrBDIY
@DrBDIY Ай бұрын
If you back off on the water deflector, then it will shoot a mostly straight line with most water coming at the end. However, some water will fall all along the path based on gravity and wind speed. If you add more deflection, then the distance will shorted and you will get more water all along the path.
