If this was being released today I would be hyper-hyped for this movie. The trailer makes it look unbelievably good, and given how good the movie is, that's quite the testament. Imagine if Paramount had a brain and re-released a remastered version of WOK in theatres on its 40th anniversary and advertised it with a trailer like this, rather than failing to cancel the malignant STD, they'd have made so much money on its re-release they'd not only not be bankrupt, but they would have reignited major interest in Star Trek. Well done, this is a masterpiece.

I particularly liked the misleading implication that the klingons blew up main engineering, misleading the audience before the release is so par for the course.

I do like WOK but I do think its a bit overrated. I actually enjoy a voyage home and undiscovered country more. They just have more interesting plots.

At 1:56 I saw the birds of prey and I was about to say they even include footage not in the movie like current trailers….until I remembered the Kobiyashi Maru simulation, then I felt stupid

My favorite duo

ST2 was the only movie where they got it right with space combat using the full 360 degrees sphere of outer space. Up. Down. Sideways. Reverse. There's no up or down in space but I think you can figure it out. All other movie space battles are linear (too much land physics influence.) and appear to go in a straight line and don't utilize all three dimensions like ST2 did.

Overall? A lean 7/10 While Blinding lights and Physical's instrumental blend together just fine, speeding up Dua's vocals in some area's make it worse. Other than that, it's pretty good.
